Yes, indeed so very much; at Chandigarh University, the law programme strives to give this real feel through so many live tasks and field work. The world-curriculum keeps changing with needs of the industry. The university runs 7 specialisation for the LLM, which helps saturate each legal area with more understanding and simplicity. The campus has 2 most moot courts set for students to practice real case style. One computer lab is designed for legal research, and international moot court events. The university has established it's special ADR center, which has training, Seminars, and many conferences. Pro bono work is included in the program; legal awareness projects receive direct support, and many camps are organized by faculty teams at different places. The road is open for international internships and visits to the High court, which increase field exposure.

Hi.According to one source, for B.Tech admissions at CU (General category, popular branches like CSE), final-round cutoffs (all-India / general) correspond to approximately the 95th percentile. Another estimate says that for CU's CSE (or popular engineering programs), a “good” JEE Main percentile is around 75-80 percentile.CU offers alternate admission tracks (via their own entrance test, or other criteria), which means high JEE percentile helps — but isn't always strictly necessary.

In the recent placement season, Chandigarh University saw 3750 engineering students getting selected. More than 240 companies came to campus and this count grew by 30 perscent from the last year. There was also a 70 percent rise in core branch companies, which showed more interest in fresh students. The total offers increased by 60 percent which showed that many firms wanted to hire more students. Around 500 companies gave packages above 5 LPA and more han 100 companies offered above 10 LPA. Students even reached an international packages of 1.7 crore and a national package of 54.75 LPA. The numbrs speak in a vry simple way and make the CSE outcome look strong.

Hi.For 2024, the “closing cutoff rank” for CSE (General category, all‑India) was ~ 80,940. For 2023 it was ~ 63,416, and for 2022 about 47,509 — showing demand has been rising year‑on‑year. For branches like ECE (or general electronics‑type branches), the 2024 closing rank was ~112,216.For other branches (Mechanical, Civil) cutoffs are significantly lower — which indirectly shows how competitive CSE / high‑demand branches are. What that roughly translates to in JEE Main PercentileBecause CU reports ranks — not percentiles — conversion to percentile depends heavily on how many students appear in that particular JEE Main session. Given typical national-level participation, previous admitted ranks around 80–100 k for CSE at CU likely correspond to roughly top ~85–92 percentile among all JEE Main takers, but this is only a rough, very ball‑park guess — not official. Some approximate expectations (general category) for high‑demand branches at CU:CSE / core CS & related: You likely needed a rank under ~80–90 k — which may mean a high‑to‑mid JEE Main percentile when competition and applicant pool are large.Branches like ECE / similar electronics‑type: Cutoff ranks are higher (i.e. ≤ ~110–120 k), so percentiles lower than those needed for CSE — but still moderately competitive. For IT / AI‑ML / other specialized‑CS‑adjacent branches: The competition is high (similar to CSE), so expect cutoffs comparable to CSE or slightly below (if fewer applicants opt for them).

Hi.Yes — if a student doesn't qualify (or doesn't take) JEE Main, they can still get admission to Chandigarh University (CU / B.E. / B.Tech) via CUCET (the university's own entrance test), under certain conditions. How it works at CUFor B.E. / B.Tech and other engineering courses, CU considers CUCET as the primary entrance exam for admission. If you don't take JEE Main (or don't get a good percentile), you can simply write CUCET (provided you meet basic 10+2 eligibility, e.g. Physics + Maths in 12th). Also, for students who scored high in 10+2 (≥ 90%), CU may provide exemptions from CUCET — but that's based on board marks, not JEE.

No, you do not need a CLAT 2026 rank to get a law seat at Chandigarh University. The university does not make CLAT compulsory for admission into any of its law programs. Instead, the main requirement is to appear for CUCET, which is the university's own entrance test. You only need 30 out of 100 marks to clear CUCET, which makes the admission process simple and student-friendly. Chandigarh University also offers scholarships worth ₹200 crores, and many of these are based on your CUCET performance, which means clearing the test can also help reduce your fee. The university keeps its admission procedure transparent and easy so that students from all backgrounds can apply without needing national-level exam scores like CLAT. So even if you haven't appeared for CLAT, you can still easily apply and secure admission by qualifying CUCET.

Hi.Yes, if you are qualified under Chandigarh University (CU), and you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for specialised CSE‑branches like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML), Data Science, or Cyber Security — even as a “JEE‑qualified” (or JEE‑appeared) student. But a few caveats apply. What CU offers — these specialisations existCU lists B.E. / B.Tech (Hons) programmes in CSE with specialisations in AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security (among others) under its “specialized‑programs / IBM‑collaborated courses.” On their website, CU's eligibility criteria for these specialisations require 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (plus one of Chemistry / CS / IT / Biology / related) at specified aggregate — irrespective of whether admissions are via CUCET or JEE.

Hi.CU doesn't rely only on JEE Main scores for admissions. Their primary admission pathway is through their own entrance test — CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test). If your JEE rank is not strong, you can appear for CUCET — many students do that as alternate route. As per recent info, students with a valid JEE Main rank up to 50,000 may get exemption from giving CUCET. But this means if your JEE score is lower (i.e. outside that top‑50,000 band), you must give CUCET.
