The university uses a merit screening process which looks at your 12th marks along with your CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) score. To be eligible you need at least 50 percent in your 10+2 or equivalent exams. Once you meet the eligibility you can appear for CUCET and then the university evaluates your application based on both your 12th marks as well as CUCET score.
