Placements were better before 2019.
Placements: You can apply for placements only in the last two semesters so that will be the 5 and 6th semester. The average package was somewhere around 3.5 LPA and the highest package was 6 LPA. The internship is compulsory at the end of the 4th semester. But the college doesn't offer them, we have to go in search of it as the crowd at the college is huge. The internship that we choose must be related to the specialization we choose for the final year. However, there is always heavy competition just for a couple of seats. Some companies that visited are EY, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, D Shaw and Shell, Exxon Mobil, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a football field, a basketball field, volleyball field and a cricket pitch. You will be allowed to play in it only after 4:00 pm. Emergency medical facilities here are excellent. We have free Wi-fi facility in the campus but sometimes it has no internet access. We have huge classes here with modern facilities like projectors and boards. I stayed in a PG. The rent of the PG was 6000 per month. The room was four sharing. The PG is closer to the college. From PG to college, it was around 600 meters.
Faculty: Most faculty members are good, they work hard in explaining the concepts to us, the younger teachers were very understanding and friendly, but the senior teachers are a little strict sometimes. But overall I would say the faculty members are very good. The exams are for a fixed time period and we don't get much time to study. There is a fixed course plan followed throughout the year which helps us to know an overall knowledge in the point of examination. It's really difficult to score high marks in the examinations.

Absolutely feeling great.
Placements: Christ University gives very good placement offers to it's students. Starting in the fifth sem the companies come to college to hire people. 69% of students get hired in top roles like Audit, Hr, accountant etc. And the package are not less than 3.5L per annum and extends upto 5L.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good and is appreciated by the students. Every student there gets good and hygienic food. We have different kinds of sports offered from physical education department such as throw ball, volleyball, football, Kho etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and experienced. They are friendly and always ready to help. Exam question papers are set in the manner to keep the students ready for the competitive world, the passing percentage is 80%. Overall teachers are helpful.
Other: B.Com is the nurturing ground for any commerce course, there are many extra subjects and papers are added so that we are all rounders. And there are many fests, and competitions to keeps us positive.

No, Both the degrees are different. As they have different courses to teach. In B.com (hons) they focuses more on cost management, human resource, export management, etc. But B.com Finance and accounting focuses more on Taxation, auditing, cost accounting,etc. Basically BAF degree focuses more on CA

Plain B.com is not a a difficult task, but if you go for B.com in finance and accountancy - that will be a perk for you as everything you study there you will come across the same in your CA course too and therefore your efforts will be lessened, Many students doing CA opt for Bachelor's in Accounta
