Studying Psychology at Christ university central campus.
Placements: Not a lot of people from our course applied for placements because its not exactly a professional course, and a Masters degree is essential for a lot of the fields. However, the people who did apply for placements got packages of about INR 20,000 to 40,000 a month.
Infrastructure: The labs are well equipped, and the library spans five floors. There are over 25 eateries on campus, and at least one medical room in every block. In addition, there are three basketball courts, a football ground, a hockey ground, and a volleyball court. The classrooms are also well maintained.
Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced and knowledgeable in their own respective fields. A lot of them also go out of their way to provide individual guidance to their students. The course plan is very descriptive, and the course itself is well planned. Exams are hard, and the assignments are very hectic to cope with. However, proper resources are always provided.
Other: I chose Christ University because it is consistently ranked among the best psychology colleges. It has received an A+ NAAC rating every year I have been here. I love the practicality of the course, but the schedule is hectic. The fests are great, especially the flagship fest, Ethnic Day. It's a great day to spend with friends.

Best years of my life.
Placements: Placements for B.A. course is available, however the liklihood of you securing your job will depend on your skillset and experience. The B.A. course is an extremely general degree and we don't necessarily walk out with skills equipped for employment. They do provide with electives, offered directly by the Indian Government but increasing your employability will be completely upto you.
Infrastructure: Im from Bangalore, hence I cant really describe about the hostel experience. But from what ive heard I think the hostel facility is pretty decent. As for the campus, its an amazing experience in and of itself. We have a beautiful campus, lots of eateries, lots of place to sit and chill around. There arent many restrictions to using the facilities at Christ as long as you know who to talk to. Classrooms in the new blocks are stellar, however the old blocks are pretty average. We have two main libraries, with plenty of resources and constantly being updated. We do conduct department level sports competitions from time to time, however Christ provides great sports scholarship for students who are playing at national, state and college level.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and sweet. You can approach them with your problems, doubts and they will help you. The professors at Christ are constantly updated, almost all of them have PhD's and are very skilled. They have lots of teaching experience and encourage students to explore their interests as well. The B.A. course specifically, isn't to make you industry ready rather it gives you an idea of what you might like to specialize (Post graduation). The course plan is pretty straightforward, if you have already studied humanities its like walking in the park. As for the sem exams, it really depends on how well you study, pass percentage is the same as school, 20/50 and 40/100.
Other: The campus is always buzzing with events, fests and competition. Its rarely ever quiet. Students are always ready to mingle, if your someone who likes making friends youd love our campus. There are plenty of opportunities for students to be a part of several organizations, clubs and activities. You can easily get through most of their selection and some provide credits as well.

The campus is lush green and gorgeous.
Placements: The placement opportunities provided are exceptional and from reputed companies like DE Shaw, Accenture etc. Internships are hard to find for psychology students as most of them expect you to pay to intern with them. The college guides and helps us find internships. Apart from that, the university provides multiple leadership opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus is breathtakingly beautiful, and everything about the campus is to love. You will not get a strong network on campus due to the presence of jammers. The library is amazing. Hostel facilities are available for first-year female students. There are multiple canteens with a variety of food options.
Faculty: Some professors are highly knowledgeable and teach us very well, while some aren't. The academic curriculum is hectic but trains you in a way. 2 electives and 1 internship are a must to graduate. There are additional credit courses that can be opted for through the university.
Other: The fests are amazing and truly the best. The university gives you an opportunity to show case your talent and also develop new talents.

Our college infrastructure has a lot of scope improvement.
Placements: For B.A. in Psychology, Sociology, and English there are not many placements. The placement cell is also not so good. Students go for off-campus placements but the trend is to complete Post graduation in the specific field of psychology before looking for a job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the most outdated. The wooden benches need to be changed and there are 3 fans in the classroom of 100 students. Medical room is 2 blocks away, so it is not feasible in case of an emergency. Canteens are amazing. The food is nice and reasonably priced.
Faculty: Sometimes teachers deviate from the chapter and go on with something very irrelevant. The curriculum is relevant and the exams are reasonably difficult. But the chapters and books referred could be made more clear. Sometimes we need to refer to 1000 things to find an answer and the syllabus becomes vague.
Other: This course has the least amount of fests and events. It is not valued much. The budget for our fests is beyond comparison. All the money and importance is given to other departments. I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in psychology.

It is a very good institute for imparting knowledge and betterment of personality.
Placements: Students from our course got placed in good companies, and salary packages are also quite attractive. Top companies like HUL, ITC, City Group, South Indian Bank, HP and many others come and take many students. GPA plays an important role in sitting in these placements. The highest salary package offered is 15.15 LPA, and many other salary packages offered range from 4 LPA onwards.
Infrastructure: The college has one of the best infrastructure and facilities in the city. Hostel and food are also good, but it is based on a first-come-first-serve. There are facilities for playing sports, and a gym is also available on the campus. On-campus medical facilities are also available. The campus is huge and lush green.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and help students with everything. They complete the whole syllabus on time and also help students in doubts. There are serious about exams, and they take practice sessions before the conduction of semester exams, which helps students to get focused.
Other: It is ranked as the best college for a psychology course, so I have chosen it. The best thing about our course is the interactive learning in the course. More practical and statistical classes could improve our course. There are many events, fests and committees on the campus which work side by side. The campus crowd is very helpful and intellectual. There are bus and metro and bus stands near campus, and there is an on-campus hostel and PG near both the gates, which makes it more connected. Sports and extracurricular activities are also enough, and practices also take place regularly.

Hello,
The registration for any course in Christ Bangalore is closed now. Registrations began from 8 December, 2017. I am not sure if there is an entrance for BA Psychology or it is merit-based. It is useless now as the classes for some courses have already begun.
