Expectations Vs Reality of Christ.
Placements: Being honest about placement, no one will get a good job except 8–10 students who are good at academics. The college has failed to deliver placement. It is a total failure of the T&P cell. In a batch of 63 students, 30–35 are placed in good company and others are left with internships. Deloitte is the top company hiring for HR profiles, and two students cracked the government exam on their own and got jobs.
Infrastructure: Christ is known for its infrastructure and facilities. Wi-Fi is available but WLAN speed is higher. All students are given separate desktops in the lab for practice with planning charts and management. Colleges have their own library lights and bright library rules, which are strict. The college itself is strict, without college dress and ID, we are prohibited from entering. Hostel rules are also strict; if anyone comes for inspection, we cannot waste shots. For the mess, we have a big hall with big TV screens. Canteen food is good and tasty, but at the same time, it is costly and many cafes, hostels, and shops are near the college. Most hostel boys are addicted to alcohol and cigarettes and they smoke inside the hostel, while freshmen get ragging.
Faculty: Christ is one of the most prestigious institutes in Bangalore. Its faculty is justified, high-class, educated and helpful. If you take attendance and strictness seriously, they are the best teachers. The course curriculum is enraged with core areas of HRM related to acquisition, performance management, labour relations, compensation, employee support, work-life balance, personal law, children and family, etc. A 3-month internship is part of the curriculum. Semester evaluation is done on a theory exam basis; the exams are a little tougher. Almost 90% of students who opted for courses passed a 7.5-pointer, which is very low.

Review of MSW HR in 2023 .
Placements: My placement journey is to first get an internship at All India Welfare for social work, then at Sonata Software as a campus recruiter intern, then work with Indian Railways and Toyota as an intern, and finally be placed at Sonata Software as an executive trainee. College placements were awesome from the first semester. Almost all 100% of students got many internships; some got placed there. In your final year, many companies offer jobs to 80–90% of students, no matter in which field you are working. This is Mangalore, and lastly, you need to work for a teaching firm. The package is attractive; CTC 5.2 LPA is a common package.
Infrastructure: Top-class campus and my friends enjoy it here. Campus feels good if you make good friends; it all depends on friends. I myself found the dress code to be a problem; it was strictly checked. In some area of college, there are jammers, making it difficult to call in emergency. You will get Wi-Fi access from any edge of the university, even in hostel. Traffic is too much to reach college; the college library is filled with books, magazines, and novels. The hostel of Christ has a good dining area that is clean; I like college food because it is tasty and healthy; and the cleaning of rooms and washrooms is done timely.
Faculty: There is a sort of partiality when it comes to teachers; there is no equal treatment for all students. 75–85% of the mandatory attendance rule is not good; attending daily lectures and studying become very hectic. Teachers are teaching us and they are the most highly qualified professors. We are the last batch of our course, and this course is discontinuous from college. But I want to tell you that the course is all about social work and human resource management. Semester exams are offline except during COVID time; passing exams is hectic and difficult. Over 85% of students pass this course at a time.
Other: I have a lot of memories here with us. Our course is ending. The one thing I want to say to freshers is to study hard, make friends and don't forget to enjoy college life and make it memorable.

Our college is simply the best.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed with the highest salary package of 9 LPA in various top companies like Tata Power, Accenture, Titan, etc. Companies reach out to the students through the placement coordinators and pick the best.
Infrastructure: College provides every kind of supportive tool for studies including libraries and other facilities. Library is the best. It provides access to several books, and articles, manage attendance and records effectively.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. The course curriculum is updated every year to adapt to the recent trends. The pass percentage is 40% and if you take minimum effort you can pass.
Other: College has a beautiful fest culture where there are programs in the auditorium every day. The ethnic day celebration is simply the best.

Review of Christ University.
Placements: Most of the students in the batch were placed at top and middle-level companies. Internships have to be found by the students themselves and will be difficult in the present scenario. Job offers will be available for roles in HR specialised fields and also in Talent Acquisition fields.
Infrastructure: The institute includes smart classes, one of the biggest libraries in the state, and labs that provide a space for practical knowledge to be further extended. The hostel is good but has time constraints, which will be difficult for post-graduates. It can be suitable for the first entry period.
Faculty: The course and syllabus are revised every year according to the new areas of expertise needed. They are taught well enough by having practical fieldwork to enhance it. Exams are quite tough but can be scored well enough if prepared beforehand. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: Christ University Choir, SWO, and Centre for Social Action are memorable extracurricular programs to join.

Review of Christ University.
Placements: About 60% of students are placed in reputed companies. Rather than placements, we are getting special recognition in outside interviews. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Tata, Titan, Vedanta, Sonata, and Jio are the top recruiters. We had to do an internship every semester. Many people got placements in the same later. 24*7, Quinbay, Airbus, and Byjus are examples. HRBP and HR executive are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: We have a smart classroom here. It was very useful for learning. Our library is one of the best. We can use the library facilities up to 9 pm. We have many cafeterias on our campus, but the rates are a little high. For those who are interested in sports, they are providing many facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are all qualified. They all have doctorates. There is one mentor for every 14 students. The mentor will be a faculty member. Our curriculum is updated every year. They take suggestions from various companies before updating. Everything is fine, but it will be a little hectic compared with other colleges. We have to submit 3 CIAs for each paper. We need 50% overall to pass.
Other: I chose this course only because of this campus. We have many co-curricular activities in college. Many fests are there. Many departmental programs are there. It will be a great opportunity for cultural exchange.

Our college has a good infrastructure, and faculty members are very helpful.
Placements: The top recruiting company for our course is Vedanta. But it depends on how you perform well during your internship because some companies hire you based on your internship experience, which is according to our seniors batch. As I am in my 2nd year, we haven't attended placements yet. However, there is a placement process in our college. You just have to register for placements if you want to attend, and then have to wait until your teachers inform you regarding the same.
Infrastructure: MSW in HRDM course is taught on the 6th floor of the central block of our campus. There are a library and computers, but Wi-Fi facility is available only for computers of the library. Otherwise, you will get 4G network depending on your mobile phone network service. You can configure your laptop and get access to Wi-Fi through it. The canteen facility is available where you have the options to eat and have different local cafe type counters which offer a variety of junk food items.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful as every student is assigned with mentors. You can approach them if you have difficulties in any subject or in your research. If you are interested in doing something good and want to dedicate it to the community, then this course is perfect for you.
Other: The best thing about this course is different topics are available in it like if you pursue MSW HR, you need to know the laws. So, we have to study it in-depth, which is very informative and will be helpful for us if we decide to become HR in any company. I wish that our college should invite guest speakers or faculty members from the same field only so that they share their real-life experiences with students and motivate them. Christ organises fest and events which encourage students to expand their networks. Our college also offers scholarships, but chances are less to get them because many students will apply for it. Depending on the scholarship criteria, our college offers scholarships. For international students, the probability of getting scholarships is less, but you have to contact the international office.

Christ University is good in every aspect, but placements were low for our batch.
Placements: Most of the companies offered very low salary packages, and because of the recession, there were poor campus placements. Placements of our seniors were pretty good compared to us. Most of us were offered jobs that were not related to our course.
Infrastructure: It is a full-fledged deemed university. The campus is huge with almost 10,000 students coming from different states and countries. You can see a new culture on campus. The campus is full-fledged with almost everything including a bank and ATM. It is one of the famous colleges in India.
Faculty: The faculty members were good, but the course curriculum was to be made a bit more understanding. Teachers were helpful and qualified. Most of the notes were provided in the form of PPTs. The faculty to student ratio was 1:15. We did get industrial exposure but not to a great extent.

The college holds significant value once you graduate.
Placements: 60% got placed for the lowest package, which is 400,000. The highest package is 1,300,000. The top recruiters for this course are Vedanta, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, and Right Management. 80% of students got internships as Human Resource associates or industrial relations officers.
Infrastructure: Christ University is well-known for its excellent infrastructure facilities, including Wi-Fi throughout the entire campus. They also offer well-equipped sports facilities for student entertainment. There are 2 libraries, along with online resources, to assist students in their academic endeavors.
Faculty: All the faculty members have a Ph.D. and years of teaching experience. They possess excellent teaching and research assistance skills. Research holds great importance and is strictly focused on. For the course completion, faculty assistance is provided for the publication and presentation of research.
