The hostel fee structure of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University for boys and girls is between INR 15,000 - INR 31,000. CSJMU provides two boys' hostels with a capacity of 400 inmates and four girls’ hostels with a total capacity of 500 inmates. All the hostels have mess facilities at moderate rates, 24-hour power supply, common hall, TV room, reading rooms, telephone, recreational and sports facilities with a tight security system. Admission to the Diploma programme is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. According to the eligibility criteria, applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics (PCB/PCM) as compulsory subjects or an equivalent exam approved by PCI.

CSJMU offers BDS course through UP NEET counselling process for which the eligibility criteria to appear in the counselling process should be with minimum 12th percentile of 50% for General, 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates, and 45% for PWD candidates. Candidates who are natives of Uttar Pradesh getting 75% can easily get admission to CSJMU.
