Review of this college from admission to placements.

Placements: The exact number I didn't know, but many students got placed. Companies come to recruit people in the field of management. Students get placed on the basis of their skills. Companies like McDonald's, TCS, etc., visit the college to hire students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very big and massive. It has an auditorium. The campus provides an inside library where we can issue books for a period of 7 days, or for more days, we can reissue by the library card we are assigned. Overall, the experience is very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and well-trained, as many of them are gold medalists and PhD holders in their fields. The course curriculum is well-designed. We have to pass 2 out of 3 internals. In that, attendance is mandatory, and we have to clear end-semester exams, which are of 60 marks. The course is divided into 6 semesters.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest and affordability.

From admission to placement.

Placements: I don't know the exact percentage of students placed but it's good enough that are placed. Many companies like McDonald's and others participate in the placement programs. Many students got internships from the college as well as they did from outside of the college.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good enough for you to have your college life. It has mess, halls, and rooms which ensures that everyone should allotted to their seat. Washrooms and library is also good from where you can issue the book for week or further after renewal.

Faculty: Faculty members are much literature as well as Ph.D. holders in their careers. The quality of teaching is also very good and the curriculum is designed in such a way that offers fair chance to all students to get pass and also get good knowledge about what they're studying.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest and further plan.

Life at DAVV: "A Student's Journey"

Placements: The highest package can range from 6-10 LPA or higher, depending on the year, as the average package is between 4-6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. The placement percentage is 50-60%. Top recruiting companies are ITC, DELLOITE, TCS, HDFC BANK, ICICI BANK, ASIX BANK, WIPRO, and more.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over the campus. Labs are well-equipped with modern hardware and software. Classrooms are generally spacious and well-arranged. The library houses a vast collection of books and journals. Hostel facilities are good and modern but also require modifications and renovations. Mess food is subjective, and general medical facilities are available on campus. Sports facilities are good and awesome; some students play at the central and international levels.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive of all the students. The teachers' knowledge is outstanding; each teacher holds a Ph.D. degree, and some have gold medals in their particular fields. Regarding the curriculum, some students find it relevant to the industry, while others feel it needs to be updated. The difficulty of the semester depends on professors and subjects, and the passing percentage is 60-70%.

Other: The decision to choose DAVV Indore is based on affordability, a good environment, supportive and helpful teachers' behavior, good placements, and most importantly, it is a government university. The best things about my course are affordable fees, government recognition, an integrated structure, and exposure to diverse subjects. The things I wish could be improved are faculty development and infrastructure. The events are very outstanding; DAVV hosts many events like TEDxDAVV. The campus crowd environment is vibrant and diverse. Connectivity is very good as it is connected with public transport. The campus surroundings are very awesome, and it is close to nature.

Life of DAVV SOC students.

Placements: Honesty, the placements in DAVV SOC are not much. Maximum packages allotted by companies are of 6 lacs and minimum are of 2.5 lacs. Other courses like management science and e-commerce could get placements. Also, internships aren't that much of a given. Companies don't often come to college.

Infrastructure: Faculty members are good. They provide notes and share notes in Google classroom. Sports events like Spardha happen every year. It include different sports like volleyball, cricket, etc. Also, I didn't opt for a hostel, so I don't know much about hostel life and mess food, but my friends who are living in hostels tell me that food isn't that great.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for this course. The Foreign Trade course is good, but you need to go for an interview outside campus, as DAVV doesn't offer an on-campus placement guarantee. Exams are easy in DAVV. A semester includes a total of four exams. There are 3 unit tests of 20 marks, of which the 3rd one is assignment-based. And the final exam is at the end of the semester, which is worth 60 points. The best of 2 will be selected from the unit test, and a total of 33 numbers must come to pass the subject.

Other: I chose this course because foreign trade is a very unique and interesting course in today's world. The course can be improved by adding more subjects related to foreign trade. Events are good in DAVV. Spardha and Spandhan happen to engage students in fun activities.

Overall, it is a good college which provides great knowledge with sports and cultural activities.

Placements: 45%-50% students are being placed. The highest package for year 2022 was 6.4 LPA and the lowest package was 3.6 LPA. The average package was about 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are ICICI bank, axis bank, Ola, Uber, etc.

Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi, central library and digital classrooms. And the hostel facilities are average. The ambience of college is great. The teachers are very supporting. The infrastructure of college is not very bad. There are more sports activities like cricket, football, bollyball, handball etc.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. It makes student industry ready. The difficulty level for exam is little above of average. The pass percentage is 60%. The poor students get extra classes for their growth. Teachers are very supportive and helpful.

Other: This course gives exposure of real life. It makes students ready not only academically but mentally and emotionally. Great ambience and such a motivating person's are there. The department of college are always there to help you.

I am satisfied with our college and its faculty members, but the infrastructure needs improvement.

Placements: In our college, almost 45% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. FTTT had taken one student with the highest salary package until now, and some private companies had come. Almost 45% of the interns were from our college. Top roles offered were FT executives, and they were allotted the same.

Infrastructure: In our college, there was one lab, but it was under construction on the first floor. Faculty members used it for study purposes, but for now, they use it. Some of the faculty members use educomp technology for teaching students for effective education. The hostel was available on the same campus for students' convenience. We had a sports court. All facilities were available for students' bright futures. All departments had a nearby canteen available, as well as a library. All departments had all facilities available.

Faculty: Teachers were very supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. All faculty members were degree holders and certified and our college was among those with 5-star accreditation. Our college arranged different industrial trips for students to gain practical knowledge. Exams were not difficult. This depended on how teachers trained students, which determined whether exams were difficult or not. The passing percentage was 45% and we had a minimum of 75% mandatory attendance.

Other: As I was from the management field, I had appeared for the management entrance exam, through which I got this college allotted. Our college was allotted only after entrance exams. There was no direct exam admission. Sports events were organised on campus and in the auditorium. Our college had its own separate auditorium. Debate competitions were conducted. Various festivals were celebrated. Many other activities were done too, which completely created the environment of the campus.

Placements: This college is popularly known as IMS DAVV, and it is one of the premier institutes of management, located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The institute has maintained an excellent placements record over the years. Top well-reputed organisations participate in the placements drive to recruit students every year. Placements cell activities of this institute are handled by the placements committee. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 4.5 LPA. The roles offered are under the finance and marketing course to date.

Infrastructure: This college has 6 boys and 6 girls hostels for the students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, television, laundry services, security, surveillance system, etc. The boy's hostel bed is 588, girl's hostel bed is 710.

College has great faculty members and HOD. It has great infrastructure and is a state university.

Placements: 80% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, HDFC, and ICICI Bank. 70% of students are placed for internships. Top role offered in our college is foreign trade.

Infrastructure: Smart board, classroom, computer lab, library with Wi-Fi are available. Great quality food is offered in college and has various facilities like seminar hall. It has a conference room with stage and mic. The mess and canteen offer great quality food and provide great medical facilities.

Faculty: It offers various games like basketball, football, cricket, chess, and table tennis and has great CGPA. Exams are semester-wise. Teachers are really helpful and provide knowledge related to foreign trade which is great and helps us solve various problems and issues.
