Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?
2thumbs up
A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

Q:   Does DAVV require CUET?
A:

Admission into DAVV Indore for the year 2025 is based on the CUET exam.  NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2024 Application Form in the 1st week of January 2025. Admission into various programmes such as BVoc, MPharm, MVoc, and Diploma programmes does not require taking the CUET exam.

Q:   Is DAVV Indore better than IIIT Bhopal?
A:

DAVV Indore and IIIT Bhopal are both significant in their own aspects. The comparison can be drawn based on several factors like tuition fees, placement packages, courses offered, etc. The choice can be made on the basis of the candidate's requirements.

This college is not good, and students are not friendly.
Placements: There is a very low chance that students will be placed in the course. There are 1 to 2 companies that recruit students. Only 10 to 11 percent of students get placement. They give false statements about placements, but they do not provide them.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college and classrooms are okay. We have a sports room in the basement, but they keep it closed all the time. There are no facilities available for a hostel, and the college is very small. They give knowledge in seminars. Our college conducts seminars for knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and teach well. They do not provide any material for home like books and PDFs on phones. The semester exams are good, and teachers are good. Nobody cheats in the exam room, but they do not make the students industry ready.
Other: I chose this course to become SI in the police department. There is no crowd in college, and students are not interested in coming to college. The events for physical activity are not conducted at college.

The college has the best-experienced teachers and good infrastructure.
Placements: 75% of students got placed. The salary offered is Rs. 50,000. Top recruiters are Axis Bank, UNESCO, etc. Around 30% of students got internships at ICHR. Researchers better comprehend the history of the time and place in which they specialize research historians and research analysts. They evaluate and review data in areas such as finance, marketing, public relations, and heritage management.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, a library, and teachers who guide the best. All facilities were here including cleanliness, safety, canteens sports library, and overall environment. The positive atmosphere, friendly staff, CCTV surveillance, proper waste disposal, and recycling system everything was amazing.
Faculty: Teachers were highly educated and experienced. It provides a board-based education in the humanities and research skills. Semester exams are all under the syllabus it's all up to us how much we studied throughout the year, as we focus and work hard we get success at 33%.
Other: This course is good for jobs. Annual functions and all government days are celebrated in our college. The library was good. There is personal growth in building friends.

I am somewhat satisfied with it. Teachers, exposure, and facilities have scope for improvement.
Placements: The only placement drive conducted by DAVV is by TCS which is completely different from our course and field. It consisted of two grounds, an aptitude test and a personal interview. 20 students got selected and the salary offered ranges from Rs. 8,000-10,000 per month after training.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. There is Wi-Fi for students. The library is not updated and is closed most of the time. There are no labs or tools for psychology students. Hostels are a little far for girls. The mess is available. Sports ground is available for all students.
Faculty: Teachers for psychology are helpful and knowledgeable. There are no permanent faculty for psychology but the visiting faculty members are good enough. The course curriculum is basic and relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. We can pass exams by studying two days before as well. The pass percentage is above average, and mostly, everyone gets promoted. It is strict in terms of UFM and attendance of 75%. We need to submit extra assignments if not cleared the attendance criteria.
Other: I chose this course because this college is near my home itself. The best thing is we learn to be independent growing on our own. It should provide permanent faculty members, psychology tools, and labs with a more expanded practical curriculum. Events are very frequent for every festival and it is fun. We find all types of the crowd here. Medhavi and various other scholarships are available. Extracurricular activities also take place often.

We are dissatisfied with this course because of the placements.
Placements: If anyone wants an internship, it was easy to get, but placement from corporate private companies was not at a higher package. But if you try other options like state PCS exams, UPSC exams, or SSC exams, this can help you to be in a better position and get attractive packages.
Infrastructure: Almost all of the facilities are present there like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, ground, indoor, outdoor, canteen, and mess. These facilities were properly maintained, but for some affiliated colleges, they have the facilities and grounds, but they are not maintained.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, knowledgeable, and most importantly, very supportive in everything. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the student industry-ready. The pass percentage is not exact, but it’s around 80%. Exams are not much difficult, and if you read, you will crack it.
Other: I loved it, that’s why I chose it. The fest is important to improve.

College infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: Firstly, in Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Science, I am preparing for B.A. (honours) and the overall condition of the classroom is good and the total strength of students in the arts department is around 200-230. Second things about placement so it does not hold a good position for making placement of students.
Infrastructure: In my college, the infrastructure of classrooms is good. The Wi-Fi of the college is good, while the library of arts department contains vast resources of history, sociology and other subjects. So overall, my review of the infrastructure and classrooms is good and the facilities of Wi-Fi are also good in college.
Faculty: The faculty of the arts department are highly educated and have good communication skills in both languages. There are well-qualified teachers given by the college. The CCE examination field project internship makes students industry-ready. All the academic activities are required to be performed by students. So overall, the faculty are good.
Other: I am pursuing B.A. (honours) from MRSC because I am preparing for the UPSC examination from the coaching centre and taking B.A. in my graduation will help me more in history, economics and politics. Overall, my experience has been good for college up until now.

The college is overall good.
Placements: 80-90% of students at DAVV get guaranteed placements, which is also based on their qualifications and potential. The highest package gone was around 40-60 LPA, and the average package is around 4-8 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. Around 70% of students get internships based on their skills and experience. Roles offered vary from financial analyst to economics, economic consultant, investment banker, etc.
Infrastructure: There are every facility available, like smart boards, good classrooms with ventilation, computer labs, a library to access all the related books, and department Wi-Fi access, etc. I didn't opt for the hostel, but the medical facilities in college are good. There is a wide range of sports available like cricket, marathon, triathlon, badminton, football, etc.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are highly qualified; some are Ph.D. holders and some are pursuing Ph.D. The teachers are helpful in every way, and they have a friendly and approachable nature. They deliver knowledge efficiently. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to the subjects chosen; it gives us practical and theoretical knowledge and skills for development. The difficulty level is moderate but still not too easy. The passing percentage lies around 33-40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in economic research and development. The best thing about my course is it has a vast and diversified range of subjects and topics that are applicable in real economics. I would only like fewer theories that are not practically applicable or proven to be hypothetical to not be included in the course curriculum. There are many events held at DAVV like TEDx DAVV, Holi Celebrations, Janmashtami, Navratri, DJ events, Sufi Nights, etc. The campus crowd is not so good and not so bad because of the basic difference in lifestyles. Scholarships are usually provided based on your +2 grade. There are many extracurricular activities like joining clubs, NGOs, or being part of any organizing committee, etc.
