Good college, but poor college, life, and average campus.

Placements: The placement that the college offers is average and pretty good because the people who choose to pursue Masters. Apart from that, almost one hundred percent get placed. The average package is around 4 to 5,00,000 rupees in the EC Department this year. The company Micron recruited 13 students from our college with a 13,00,000 package.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very bad, and it needs to be renovated. Apart from that, the technology and the projectors in classrooms are good, and the computers and laboratories are also good, but there is a need to develop and reconstruct or renovate the campus and the library.

Faculty: The faculty curriculum is very good. The syllabus is designed based upon the demands of the industry, and the faculty members are also very experienced. They are almost all Ph.D. holders, and those who are not, they are pursuing a Ph.D. Apart from them, the teaching style is very good.

DDIT information and brief.

Placements: The eligibility for placement is different from company to company. The company visits college for placement and has different criteria and a different bond. 100 percent placement is held in college and an average of 5 Lac packages are offered, which go up to 15 to 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: The canteen has good-quality food and is also affordable for students. There are clubs like sports, reading, and photography clubs. The classrooms are very nice and neat. Mess food is also good and cheap. Many students used to eat mess food in break time.

Faculty: After every 4 weeks, there are internal exams. There are 3 internal exams. And 1 external exam. And 1 viva for each lab subject. The curriculum is moderate, which also helps students prepare for industrial practices and the GATE examination. Teachers are also very knowledgeable .

Other: There is a fest called Felific, which is organized by students and teachers. This fest is organized in Feb or March. This fest is for 1 week, during which all the days are celebrated. Sports days are also celebrated. The canteen has good-quality food and is also affordable for students. There are clubs like sports, reading, and photography clubs.

Faculty members are helpful, good curriculum, fewer extracurricular activities, avg placement.

Placements: Almost all the students seeking placements were placed. Others opted for higher studies. Average placements are around 3.2-4 lakhs, and the higher went around 6 lakhs this year. Many companies visited; however, a high package was not provided, but the placement percentage was almost 100%.

Infrastructure: The college hostel is just for girls, which is okayish. There isn't much scope for extracurricular activities. However, there are clubs for students to be a part of. The labs are alright, and classrooms are fine as well. The library provides all the necessary books.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Mostly all are postgraduated, a few with a doctorate, and a few pursuing it. The course is really helpful; it makes students ready for industry. There are exams every month which ensure students are preparing hand in hand and not leaving everything for the end.

Other: There's only one fest the entire year, which is also not up to the mark. There is almost no social life. Few clubs are there but not as active. Extracurricular activities are really less.

Placements: Eligibility for placement varies from company to company. Companies visit the college for placement and have different criteria and different bonds. The college holds 100 percent placement, with an average package of 5 Lacs offered and going up to 15 to 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: I chose this course because I have a special interest in Physics, and I also found this course very interesting. The curriculum of this course was very engaging, which helped me to choose this exam. The canteen has good quality food and is also affordable for students. There are clubs like sports, reading, and photography clubs.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very nice, and the teachers are very helpful and supportive for all academic doubts. After every 4 weeks, there are internal exams. There are 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Also, there is 1 viva for each lab subject. This course prepares us for industrial experience as well.

Other: There is a fest called Felific organized by students and teachers. This fest is organized in February or March. It lasts for 1 week where all the days are celebrated. Sports days are also celebrated. The canteen has good quality food and is also affordable for students. There are clubs like sports, reading, and photography clubs.

It has good teaching-learning process but has poor infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in the year 2021 in the EC branch. The top recruiting companies were RapidQuist, eInfochips, Volansys Technologies, TCS, Infosys, and Softnautics. Roles offered were ASIC engineer, embedded engineer, software engineer, QA, and IT Analyst. The highest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA by RapidQuist, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.83 LPA by Aumraj Design, and the average salary package offered was 3.1 LPA.

Infrastructure: The classroom infrastructure is poor and very old. Library has a lot of books and journals and provides a good facility. Labs are not equipped with enough kits for every student. The on-campus hostel is only for medical students, while there are almost no sports facilities and the canteen is less than decent.

Faculty: Teachers in the EC department are knowledgeable and are always ready to help and guide students. The teaching is regular and of high standards as well. The course curriculum is industry-relevant in with the latest technology being taught, such as RISC-based ARM Cortex processors, SCADA and other automation technologies, computer networks, and experiment-based learning.

Other: The EC course offered by DDU is the 2nd best course offered in Gujarat by a state university only behind MSU. There is an exclusive industrial training program for 4 months in the final semester, enabling students to gain relevant industrial experience. There are many courses on communication systems, however, there should be more courses on VLSI and embedded systems.

Dharamsinh Desai University is established in 1968. It is an old and ranked university.

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Around 70% of students get internships in our college. Many roles are offered in our college and many activities.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are available in our college. It provides air-conditioner classrooms, Wi-Fi, and RO plan available in our college. It also has a sports ground for students. Mess and canteen facilities are available. Sports and other activities are also provided in this college.

Faculty: In this college, professors are qualified in Ph.D. The teaching quality is better than in other colleges. The third-semester exams are difficult. The teaching quality is excellent. The pass percentage is 7.43%, and our college experience is very good.

Other: The best thing in a course is placements and knowledge for other courses. All activities are held in this college.

Everything in college is fine.

Placements: The placements are generally a huge bag where everything is considered for a college scene. Here in DDU, you will definitely get ample of opportunities regarding the job role. The ratio of salary packages offered would lead from 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA. It is up to you how you approach the things. Basically, the companies require good knowledge of programming.

Infrastructure: Facilities in the college are normal as it is semi-government college. Sports is generally a big issue in this college as no high sports facilities are provided. The student has to accumulate themselves to play at the nearby grounds. No Wi-Fi is provided. The hostel is not compulsory, and the student has to manage themselves. If the medical student approaches hostel has been provided to them. So basically, now there is no boys hostel. Classrooms are basically like schools. Air-conditions are not installed in classrooms. Labs are of the old version, and they need to upgrade that.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and even qualified. Teaching quality is good, but some of the teachers are not able to teach at that topmost level. The course curriculum is full of exams with 3 internal and external in 4-5 months. That is the burden which the student faces every year. Choose wisely and best of luck.
