DDU: Great education along with the best management.

Placements: DDU is in the list of top 10 colleges of Gujarat because of its good management and totally different education system with more than 60% placements. Generally, the percentage of placement is more in computer engineering following by IT and chemical engineering. Mechanical and civil engineering branches do not get much benefit of campus recruitment, while IC and EC branches have a moderate rate of placement. Here is the percentage of placement for various branches are mentioned for 2017: computer engineering: 90%, IT engineering : 80%, chemical engineering : 75%, EC/IC: 40%, mechanical engineering: 35%, and civil engineering: 5%.

Infrastructure: DDU has a very large campus with beautiful infrastructure. The campus is built on 25 acres of land. The classrooms are of large dimensions and the shape of the classroom (octagonal)/is in a way that proper natural lighting directly comes into the classroom and students can hear the voice of the teachers clearly from any place. Even the last benchers also can hear the voice of teachers clearly. The stage in the front for the lecturers is made in a way that the students and professors can see each other easily. The canteen and the library are also good. Too many trees and a beautiful garden keeps the environment cool and beautiful.

Faculty: The faculty of all the departments is interested in teaching the student. The main thing is the friendly nature of them makes the students learn without fear. They are always ready to help their students. If students have doubts other than the education, they are ready to solve them too. To be honest, the curriculum activities are not helping in this institute This institute concentrates only on educational programs.

Other: This institute is a deemed university means it is state university but free from the Gujarat University ie.MSU. This institute is NAAC accredited and ranked 8th in march 2017 in India.

The college faculty are supportive. Other than civil, the placement is the best.

Placements: DDU is a famous institute for chemical engineering in Gujarat but other than this, the highest placement was done by computer and IT branches. Approximately 80 out of 120 got placed. In the mechanical department, the placement is not bad as around 40% students got placed in mechanical. Well if I say about my department, great companies named Linde, L&T, GSFC and ONGC came but they selected only masters students, so if I say in the civil department the lowest placement occurs in BTech batch, that is not wrong. I don't know the reason, but maybe, companies did not get the construction projects nowadays.

Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 25-acres land. The infrastructure of the college is massive and the shape of the classroom (octagonal)/is in such a way that the proper natural light directly came in the classroom and students can hear voice of professors at any place, even at the last bench. The stage and the front side for lecturers is made in such a way that the students and professors can see each other easily. The canteen and library are also made up in such that way that natural lights come in those places. Overall I gave 8 points to infra from 10.

Faculty: The faculty members of all department are good and friendly. They are always ready to help their students. If students have doubts other than education, they are ready to solve on their own. To be honest, the curricular activities are not held in this institute as this institute is concentrating on educational programs a lot.

Other: This institute is a deemed university means it is a state university but free from Gujarat University i.e. MSU. This institute is NAAC-accredited and is ranked 8th recently i.e. March 2017 in India. For those students who are concentrating on studies abroad, this is the best college.
