Dharmsinh Desai University offers a BTech programme under seven specialisations. Interested candidates can apply for the programme by visiting the university's official website. Before applying, they must ensure that they meet the preset eligibility criteria for BTech admission at Dharmsinh Desai University. To be eligible to pursue BTech at the university, applicants must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science from a recognised board. They must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12. Additionally, they must submit the documents supporting their eligibility at the time of admission.

GUJCET is the accepted entrance exam for BTech admission at Dharmsinh Desai University. The exam is conducted in March. The exam date changes every year. The exam date for GUJCET 2026 has been announced by the conducting body, i.e. GSEB. The exam will be conducted on March 29, 2026. 

DDU Nadiad conducts BTech admission process in two ways. For 50% for the total seats, candidates with a valid GUJCET score can apply directly on the university's official website or by visiting the university campus in person. The seats are allotted through a merit list based on the GUJCET scores.

For the remaining 50% of seats, the allocation is based on applicant's GUJCET rank, followed by ACPC counselling. For this, candidates must visit the official ACPC website. After completing the registration and application process, ACPC will declare a merit list of eligible candidates. After this, eligible candidates can proceed to fill out the choices for their preferred colleges. Seats are allotted to applicants based on the merit list and the choices filled by them.

At DDU Nadiad (Gujarat), there are 660 seats for various BTech specialisations. 50% of these seats are filled through ACPC counselling, based on the applicants' merit in GUJCET. The remaining 50% of the seats filled by the university under the NRI/Management Quota. Admission to these seats is also based on the applicant's merit in GUJCET. However, seats are allotted to the applicants without the ACPC counselling. Such candidates must submit their online application directly at the university's official website.

The college is not so costly. The tuition fee of the college is usually affordable and students can easily focus on their studies rather than bother about the cost of the college. The total fees of the college for a four-year programme of MBBS is nearly 20.3 L-35.3L. The fee for the PGDM course is about 3.2 L.

At the UG level, Dharmsinh Desai University provides a 4-year BE/BTech programme to the willing students. students who passes the minimum eligibility criteria set by DDU - Dharmsinh Desai University with a valid score in JEE Main exam can apply for admission at DDU for Btech.

The candidates cannot secure a seat in any government medical college without appearing for the NEET exam. The seats are given based on the score of the NEET. The candidates after giving the NEET Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are eligible for counselling. The NTA announced registration dates via an official circular, which was released online on the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply was December 13, 2024, and the admit card was released on January 20, 2025.
