DDU Nadiad has concluded its BTech admissions for the academic session of 2024 in August 2024. The application process for allocation of vacant seats has also been conlcuded. Candidates planning to take admission during the academic cycle of 2025-26 can register for GUJCET starting Jan 25, 2025. The exam is scheduled for March 23, 2025.

DDU Nadiad has a total of 660 seats for various BTech specialisations available at the university. The specialisation-wise distribution of these seats has been tabulated below:

A Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree from Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) opens up a wide range of career prospects. Depending on their chosen specialisation, BTech graduates of DDU can take up various job roles. Some of these job roles are mentioned in the table below:

Yes, DDU Nadiad offers a full-time Bachelor of Technology or BTech as a UG-level programme. The programme is offered through the university's Faculty of Technology. With a total intake of 660 students, the university offers the programme under seven specialisations. These specialisations include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, IT, etc. The duration of these courses in four years. Admission to BTech at DDU Nadiad is provided based on the applicant's rank in GUJECT, followed by ACPC counselling.

DDU Nadiad conducts BTech admission process in two ways. For 50% for the total seats, candidates with a valid GUJCET score can apply directly on the university's official website or by visiting the university campus in person. The seats are allotted through a merit list based on the GUJCET scores.

For the remaining 50% of seats, the allocation is based on applicant's GUJCET rank, followed by ACPC counselling. For this, candidates must visit the official ACPC website. After completing the registration and application process, ACPC will declare a merit list of eligible candidates. After this, eligible candidates can proceed to fill out the choices for their preferred colleges. Seats are allotted to applicants based on the merit list and the choices filled by them.

The candidates cannot secure a seat in any government medical college without appearing for the NEET exam. The seats are given based on the score of the NEET. The candidates after giving the NEET Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are eligible for counselling. After, the counseling rounds candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees. The rank in DHarmish Desai University for securing a seat for the year 2023 for the general category is around 233. The rank for the SC/ST category is around 2627. The rank for the EWS category is around 1700 and the rank for OBC Category is around 5224.

CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.

The NTA announced registration dates via an official circular, which was released online on the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply was December 13, 2024, and the admit card was released on January 20, 2025.

MBA admission at Dharmsinh Desai University is provided to candidates through ACPC counselling, subject to fulfilment of the DDU MBA eligibility criteria. As per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% in their bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission. A relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility requirement is provided to candidates belonging to the SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category. Additionally, candidates must have a valid CMAT score to participate in the ACPC counselling.

MBA admission at DDU is based on the applicant's CMAT score, followed by ACPC counselling. Hence, aspirants must apply for CMAT once the application forms are available. In 2024, the CMAT registration window opened in February. Once the CMAT results are announced, candidates must register for the ACPC counseling. CMAT results are typically released in June. In 2024, the ACPC registration started on June 21, 2024 and continued till July 11, 2024.

To register for ACPC counselling, candidates will need a scanned copy of the following documents:

1. Passport size photograph in JPEG format (100 kb or lower)
2. Birth date proof/School Leaving certificate/Aadhar Card
3. Class 12 mark sheet
4. Original Final Semester mark sheet of graduation which shows obtained Percentage Marks or CGPA
5. Valid CMAT scorecard
6. Caste Certificate/Income Certificate/Physical Disability certificate (if applicable)
7. Non Creamy Layer Certificate for SEBC (In Gujarati, issued by the officers of Gujarat government)
