VGEC 2025 review about college.
Placements: I was in the CSE branch. Any batch of this course has not passed yet. Still, CE department placements are average. The highest package is 10 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Some of the best companies that recruit from my course include TCS, Accenture, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: In my course at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), we have well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and good facilities for practical learning. Our department has specialized labs that are well-maintained with modern equipment. Classrooms are spacious and have projectors for better learning. We have an auditorium/seminar hall for guest lectures and workshops. VGEC has separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are squad, and they are decent but can feel a bit crowded. The food quality is average, with a rotating menu. Some dishes are good, but like any mess food, it gets repetitive.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some faculty teach very well and details with a practical approach and some just read and teach. Mostly teachers are supportive and good in the computer engineering department and information technology department. Semester exam conducted by GTU.

VGEC placements are good. But some faculty members and study are not good.
Placements: Placements at VGEC are nice. The average package is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest package is 22 LPA for the 2024 batch. The lowest package is 3 LPA. At VGEC, a lot of companies are recruiting. Recruiting companies are TCS, Tata Soft, Torrent Power, Rapido, Argusoft, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College is average. But good than other colleges. Hostel rooms are good. In the hostel, each room has 3 beds, 1 corridor, and 1 window. There is a reading room. There are CE, CSE, mechanical, electrical, EC, civil, etc., courses are available.
Faculty: At Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, the faculty is Ph.D-qualified. Some faculty members are very strict. Some faculty members are very angry and bad. Very less teachers are temporary. They are very nice. It is very good. At VGEC, mid-semester exams are moderately easy. It is easy to pass to average students.

Good college for placement and infrastructure because its government, fee is too low.
Placements: I am pursuing computer science and data science in my college I got admission via ACPC Gujarat board. There are 75 students in my branch. In my branch, there is 70% placement. The average package is 4.5 LPA. My college also offers internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is quite impressive. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern teaching aids such as projectors and sound systems, which enhance the learning experience. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources that are easily accessible to students. Additionally, the campus is Wi-Fi enabled, which helps in research and academic work. Wi-Fi speed 100mbps it's quite nice.
Faculty: Faculty members at my college are generally very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the professors hold advanced degrees in their respective fields, and many have significant experience in both teaching and industry. The course curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers the necessary foundation topics. It is updated periodically, but there's room for more industry-specific content, particularly in emerging fields.
Other: I choose data science because there is high scope in the future. After all, data are the most important thing. College organizes events and hackathons.

Review of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. The salary package offered is 3 LPA to 7 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. About 60% of students are placed. Many students opt for master's degrees or go into business or startups.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are not good. A playground is available. Purified drinking water is provided. The quality of the food in the hostel is average. The library is small.
Faculty: Our teachers are cooperative. The teaching quality is good, but the students are not interested. The course is not difficult.

Honest review of my college by me.
Placements: There are almost 100 students in my course. The highest package is INR 1 lac per month, the lowest package is INR 30 thousand per month, and the average package is about INR 50 to 60 thousand. My favorite company is Intel. The most expensive package was INR 12 lakh. Big companies were present.
Infrastructure: In our college, the hostel facilities are there. The rooms are good, and ventilation is available in each room. The people in the room are divided into three groups. In that room, there is a cupboard and table; other than that, there is a bed. All the above accessories are included.
Faculty: The faculty at the college are well educated and very well trained. The teachers here are well qualified in their fields. The college curriculum is also very nice and good. There are a total of eight semesters in the B.E. degree. So there are a total of 4 years in my college.

Great experience for us.
Placements: I am studying at Vishwkarma Government Engineering College.
This year, 100% of students were placed in the computer engineering and information technology branches.
The average package offered is INR 4-5 Lacs per annum.
TCS, Reliance, and Torrento all offer internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our faculty is very nice. For us, they are very supportive faculty. They help us with projects, models, and other work.
Food is not good for us.
Unhealthy food is given to us.
Sports are good.
There is a basketball court, a volleyball ground, and a kabaddi ground.
Faculty: Our faculty is very nice and teaches us well.
Teaching quality is very good for us.
The teachers are very helpful to us. They are knowledgeable faculty. Semester exams in the college are available for hard pass percentages that are very easy. Passing marks are 23 out of 70.
Other: I chose this course for a better future and to gain confidence.
Some tech fests and events are organized by the students.

The honest review by vgec student.
Placements: There is 100% placement in the computer Science engineering branch. In semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Placement partners are nirma tcs infocys reliance capgemini ibm hitachi tatavasoft techmahindra, etc. In 2023, 516 offers the highest package was 12 Lacs and the average package is 8 to 9 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The campus is very big. There are many clubs in college like nss and ncc. Photography club, bachpan, ieee, cultural club and etc. There are some events like vishwacup (sports) and vishwasanskruti. Vfec's library seating capacity is 150. there are 33500 books available in the library. The classroom is big enough. Computer labs are also nice.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and knowledgeable. There are 4 to 5 teachers for one subject. Most of the faculty members are postgraduate and cleared the gpsc exam. Exams are taken in mid of semester is mid exam and one taken at last of the semester is the university exam.
Other: Data Science courses are nowadays trending. I chose this course because there are many scope in the future.

Vgec a value for money boring option.
Placements: The main placement range between 5lpa-10lpa and some high achievers get about 15-20lpa. But the company are coming to recruit in this market too. So there is a reputation of vgec among companies for producing quality engineers which has been declining over years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not at all well maintained the mess food and hostel is below average but the price is only 1500/year for hostel so it is justified but still it should be atleast clean and free of any kind of fre hoarders. Library and classroom are ancient .
Faculty: The faculty is a hit or a miss here there are 2 types of faculty one that is genuinely interested in students and one that is here only for the salary and doesn't give a damn about any student. If u get the later type please comply with them or else they may give u unnecessary hassle which u need to avoid in this college.
Other: The fest and event are very dull and the crowd is really not that diverse .
