Information about the campus.
Placements: Placements are not quite good, but there is an expectation for good placements. We are expecting good results. The seniors are doing well, and the university management is also making preparations to invite different companies for placement opportunities on the campus.
Infrastructure: Our department is neat and clean, with Wi-Fi facilities. Water coolers are installed for clean drinking water. Rooftop solar panels are placed for better electricity. Labs are established for students. The library is offered by the department for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified up to the Ph.D. level. The syllabus designed by the teachers is very beneficial for the students. Courses are according to the needs of industries. The papers are moderate to tough, but with proper preparation, everyone can achieve well.
Other: Timely events are held with the coordination of faculty members.

University has good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Since last year, students have become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Swastika Infotech, ALL IN ONE Consultancy, Fair Deal Fincorp, etc. visited. Almost 50% of the students are getting placed. I am going for higher studies, like a M.Tech. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are plenty of facilities available for this course, like high-speed Wi-Fi, computer labs, digital boards, and a library. The hostel facility is average (not so good). The quality of food in the mess and canteen is not bearable. The medical facilities are of no use. Sports and games are just for show.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make a student industry-ready. The semester exams are easy at this college. You have to study only the material provided by teachers for the best results. Almost 95% of the students have passed.

College is big. B.Tech community is not developed well yet.
Placements: As a recently opened course B.Tech, seems to be average not good because it's not as popular as it recently started, but placements are average. Some lower companies seems to come but mostly students go for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but lack of labs for some subjects. They have big grounds. Classrooms are not well and seats are not in proper condition. Wi-Fi is available and is good in all aspects. There is a library available in which you can study, money has been passed for the new library. We also get separate library for only B.Tech students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and course curriculum is structured. Exam culture is also good, sometimes it is conducted in MCQs and sometimes in subjective, but the strictness is good. Paper pattern and syllabus are little different from AKTU. Many sports events are conducted from time to time.
Other: As a student, who wants to explore. It is not suppose to be much good but it's okay.

Placements: There are 75 students studying in the CSE batch. B. Tech course started in the year 2021. So, there are no placements yet. The placements will start from the year 2024. The average placement is 2.5 to 3 LPA in courses like BCA, MBA, etc. Recruiting companies are Swastika Infotech, Fair Deal FinCorp, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in this college. High-speed internet connection is available on the campus. There are many labs for Computer Science and IT students. There is a separate library for this course. The hostel facility is average. The food items available in the canteen are not good.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified. The teaching quality is average. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant but it is not directly helpful for industry. The semester exams are quite medium. All the teachers are very calm. Smart boards are available in each classroom.
Other: My course is B. Tech CSE. My batch is the 3rd batch for this course. I chose this course because I want to make a future in this field. My dream is to become a Software Engineer.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDU) is good college for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Theire Placements- arround 60 to 70 % students got placed in different MNcs across the india, infrastructure, faculties are also good.
