Dibrugarh University, Assam is worth considering as a good university. It is placed in top ranks as per the NIRF rankings for consecutive years and also owns various recognitions and accreditations from various governing bodies. NIRF 2024 ranked Dibrugarh University on rank 43 in the Pharmacy category, while it was ranked within the rank band 101-150 for the University (Overall) category. Dibrugarh University owns recognitions and memberships from governing bodies such as AIU and PCI. 

Dibrugarh University admission to courses is either entrance-based or merit-based. The University offers a variety of UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes in various streams. Admission to these courses is done by the university's in-house entrance exams such as DUPGET,  DURAT, B.Ed CET for MA, PhD, and B.Ed, respectively. For courses such as MBA and MTech, the university accepts valid scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT and GATE, respectively.

The University offers courses such as BTech, BEd, MA, MBA and many more with duration varying from 1 year to 5 years. Dibrugarh University Assam fee structure includes courses with tuition fees ranging from INR 1K to INR 6.25 Lakh. 

Dibrugarh University provides admission with a minimum aggregate of 40%-60% in Class 12 for UG programmes along with the considered entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, AHSEC, CUET and others.
