Dr. C.V. Raman University, also known as CVRU, is a private university and was established in 2006. It is located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, and is approved by the AICTE, NCTE, PCI,  and BCI. Dr CV Raman University was established as the first private university in Chhattisgarh and has a sprawling campus of 70 acres.

As per the eligibility criteria of CV Raman University, candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for UG courses. The minimum aggregate for most of the UG courses is 45%. Hence, aspirants can get admission in UG courses with 60% in Class 12. There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.

Candidates seeking admission into CV Raman University BSc courses must fulfill the eligibility requirement. Only those candidates who meet the criteria will be considered for further admission process. To be eligible for a BSc in Biology, Biotechnology, and Microbiology, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 (Science). A 5% relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
