I am satisfied with Era University because it is the best college for me.

Placements: About 80% of students got jobs in Lenskart and different eye hospitals. Some students go outside of India and do a job in an eye hospital and earn lots of money. Some students open their own clinics and they earn on their own.

Infrastructure: Labs are maintained well and good. Instruments are available for practice. Our lab and our hospital are so good. In our hostel, all facilities are available like electricity and water supply for the whole day. The food provided is also very good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. All teachers are PhD holders and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching skills is very good. The course curriculum is very good, relevant, and easy. It is helpful and has easy language for the students. Exams are not so hard. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because, in this course, we directly communicate with the patients and other paramedical courses do not provide this opportunity.

Our campus life is very good.

Placements: Almost 98-95% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. Top recruiting company is Lenskart. Around 95-99% of students got internships at Lenskart, Era Hospital, and other hospitals. You can opt for many fields if you choose this course.

Infrastructure: Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. Laboratories are well-equipped. Several books are available in the library. Hostel facilities are good. In each hostel room, six students can accommodate easily. Washrooms are better. We also have a reading room in this college. The food served in the mess is great. They provide food thrice a day. Medical facilities are available 24X7.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not difficult. If we study properly, we can score good marks. A few questions come outside of the syllabus. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. It has good scope in the future. The best thing about this course is that you can opt for fields like industries, research, teaching, clinical, hospital, etc. There is no need for any improvement. Fests and extracurricular activities are conducted.

When is the Era University's entrance test expected to be conducted for B.Sc. in Optometry course? How can I prepare for it?

The exact date is not announced yet but it is expected to be conducted by july 2025.

To prepare you can just brush up 12th concepts,study on english and general awareness,take mock tests and be aware of time management,use previous papers and try solving it.
