Gangadhar Meher University offers a BCom programme for undergraduate students. Admission to this course is based entirely on the academic merit of the last qualifying examination. Step 1: Gangadhar Meher University BCom Application Process 2025

Prospective students must follow the Students Academic Management System (SAMS)-regulated online process:

Step 1.1: Access the SAMS portal at samsodisha.gov.in and click on ‘Degree(+3)’ under ‘Higher Education’.

Step 1.2: Proceed to ‘New Student Registration’ on the subsequent page.

Step 1.3: Input all necessary details in the application form and create a password.

Step 1.4: Fill out the Common Admission Form (CAF) as per the desired subject and university.

Step 1.5: Submit the completed form and pay the INR 300 application fee.

Step 2: Selection

Selected candidates are required to present their Intimation Letter and original documents to the admission committee for verification. During counseling, students must choose from the following options regarding their major subject:

Float: Accept the current seat but remain open to a better major subject in higher preferences.

Slide: Accept the current seat but remain open to a better major subject and institution in higher preferences.

Freeze: Confirm acceptance of the currently allotted seat.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation

Upon final confirmation, an admission letter is issued. Students must complete document verification and pay the admission fee to secure their place. The Gangadhar Meher University BCom programme fee is INR 9,680.
