It is a university entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA, BTech, PhD, etc. National or state-level entrance exams such as GATE, CLAT, JEE Main, etc. are also accepted for a few courses. Yes, students of general category can get scholarship in Gautam Buddha University. Merit-based scholarships are available for students with high academic performance, who get relaxation in tuition fees up to 50% for those who score 80% and above in the 12th examination, UP state government scholarships are also available.

Academic fee shall be refunded in case of withdrawal of admission from the course of study in which he/ she is enrolled as per the UGC norms. Gautam Buddha University shall refund the security deposit in full. Once the hostel is allotted, then the hostel fee for the semester shall not be refunded in case of admission withdrawal.
