The lower level of some companies are coming in my college, and college doesn't work on placement, which students need.

I did not expect to learn such boring subjects in CSE.
Placements: I am in my 1st year, so I don't have much knowledge, but what I have heard from my seniors is that on-campus placements are not too good, but off-campus can be found. Our 4th year senior bagged a 28 LPA off campus, so it is not that you can't get good jobs, but our on-campus average is 8-10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is mid. No proper bathrooms in the hostel, broken tiles, and the geyser doesn't work. Taps are broken. No fresh paint on the walls of the hostel, and it looks messy. The food of mess is quite good compared to others, but they sometimes delay. The sports quality is good, you get a badminton court, volleyball court in front of the hostel, and can play anytime, borrowing them from the hostel itself.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, but the teaching quality is not too good. They just come over and spill the mug up syllabus. The semester exams are quite tough, I got an 8.4 CGPA. The passing percentage is 40, including sessional and semester exams.
Other: I was fascinated by computers and their working from my early life, and always wanted to create some wonderful software through programming languages. I wish to become a good quality full-stack developer and get a package of around 20-30 LPA.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: About 60% of students get placed in the course based on their skills. But most students start the preparation for the GATE exam. Our college produces top rankers in the GATE exam. The highest packages are 15 LPA. The lowest one is 3 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Colors Code, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Google. The top 10 students who scored above 8 CGPA got internship opportunities from companies and also PPOs from them. Roles like software intern and system engineer are offered first.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good, but the college is not so good, as it was made back 40-50 years ago, and they haven't renovated it till now. Instruments are also not replaced. By the way, classrooms are loaded with all the necessary items like projectors, digital boards, Wi-Fi, and speakers. Food in the canteen is good, but very bad in the hostel, as they give a limited number of vegetable dishes. Sports facilities are available in our college. We also have our own stadium named Dayanand Stadium, where national and sometimes international matches happen.
Faculty: Teachers' teaching quality is appreciable, and they are approachable too. They help us even after class. The course curriculum is relevant, as our professors motivate us to advance new technology and make projects on it. They make students industry-ready with their approach and efforts. Exams are moderate, and we can crack them just by studying during the gap days. Even students study for exams during that time only. The passing percentage is about 80%. About 20% of students fail in the digital electronics subject; that's why the passing percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of its affordability, and the teaching style of professors is unique and extraordinary. They motivate us to choose real world applications based projects. I would like to make my campus more beautiful and advance with all the latest technology. Events are generally organized by the teachers and students. The fest happens once a year in the months of December and February. Connectivity is good with the IIT Roorkee professors and with the students too.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: About 60% of students were placed in our course. The remaining students prepared for the GATE exams. The highest packages are 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, with average packages at 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Google. About 50% get internships and PPOs from the companies based on their skills and experience. Top roles offered by companies are system engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are present in our college, and classrooms are equipped with all the facilities available in other colleges, such as projectors and digital boards. Hostel facilities are well-furnished with equipment like beds, tables, fans, almirahs, chairs, etc. The quality of the mess and canteen is not so impressive; it starts off well but degrades after a few months. Medical facilities are available, and there are sports facilities and a stadium.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable, as they assist us both online and offline during and after class. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, which helps us in the placement process and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult; they are moderate, as they include previous years' questions. The passing percentage is 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of its affordability compared to other private colleges. The best aspects of this college are the curriculum structure and the supportive nature of the teachers. I wish my college's infrastructure were better, but they never work on it. They just neglect it and keep their money in their pockets. Events and fests named JANAGANI are held every year in December and sometimes in February. Scholarships are provided by each state to students based on their categories.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya GFTI's review.
Placements: Placement services were average. About 50% of students got placed in the course. Half of the students prepared for GATE exams for better packages. The highest packages were 12 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was about 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were like Colors Code, IBM, TCS, infosys wipro etc. Roles offered were like system engineer and full stack developed. One of our alumni worked as a system engineer at IBM.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were above average because they work hard on them. But the main problem was that once they make it, then they don't look over it. Like the gadgets they bought were not replaced with the new technology. Otherwise facilities were okay. Hostel facilities were also good. But the food quality was very bad as they just gave whatever they wanted. Bad quality of food was served, because of which we don't want to eat there every night. Morning breakfast was good, but dinner was very bad.
Faculty: Teachers were well educated and highly qualified. The HoD of our department was the dean of our college. He always helped students by sharing new technology and schemes, like funding to support small startups from our college. The course was relevant as it helps with funding for students. Semester exams were not so difficult because most questions were from the PYQs only. We can pass exams just one day before studying for the exam, but class notes were very necessary for that.
Other: I chose this course because I found it helpful in two ways. Because in this college, nothing is important other than money. If you have paid your money, then attendance doesn't matter. And the maximum time we get to study for any other exams. Many students prepared for GATE exams. Also, AIR 1 was from our college only. That's the big achievements of our college. I want to improve the infrastructure and funding methods of the government. Events and festivals were also held here, but by the students only. Teachers didn't support.

Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya - College Review
Placements: As this college is one of the popular GFTIs, most of the students get enough time to prepare for other exams too. Instead of this, about 80% of students sit for the placement round, and 60% succeed. The lowest package is 8 LPA, the highest package is 15 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Google, Colors Code, IBM, etc. Roles offered include software intern and cybersecurity intern. About 50% in CSE and 100% in Electrical get internships and PPO from the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and buildings are too old because they are not being taken care of. The college is also spread over a very small area. However, classrooms have all the facilities, and the hostel is good to live in. Labs, library, and Wi-Fi are available in the college and hostel campus. The mess quality is good and hygienic, but sometimes they serve very bad food, mostly at night. Sports and games facilities are available because the college owns its own stadium called Dayanand Stadium.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and cooperative. The college helps us in achieving our goals and provides funds for the startup of students, helping them grow under their guidance. The course curriculum is very relevant; it makes students industry-ready. However, students want to go to IIT for better packages and an IIT tag, so most students aim to crack the GATE exam. Exams are not so difficult because we can clear them easily just by reading the professors' notes and previous years' question papers. The passing percentage is about 80%.
Other: I chose this course because of the extra time advantage that I get in this college. This is because we don't have to care about attendance; we just have to show our face to our professors once in a while, and after that, we are allowed to take the exams. The library and the stadium are good here. I want to improve the buildings. A fest is held here called JANAGANI with joy, and other extracurricular activities also happen once a year, like the fresher's party.

Review of GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya.
Placements: About 60% of students get selected or placed in the CSE course because most of the students prepare for the GATE exam. The highest packages offered by companies are 15 LPA. The lowest is 8 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA per annum. Top recruiters include Microsoft, Google, Colors Code, IBM, Infosys, and TCS. About 50 to 60 students out of 250 get selected for this course. Roles like software developer and intern are offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are above average. It is good to live in. All necessary equipment is available, including tables, beds, chairs, personal almirahs, etc. Classrooms have all the facilities like Wi-Fi and smart boards. Hostel facilities are good, and the food quality is okay. However, they don't serve good food in the end. In the beginning, the food quality is good, but after a few months, it becomes the worst. The mess and canteen are also on the college campus, and medical facilities are provided. There is a sports room where all the needed equipment is available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, as they assist us in every circumstance. They help us after class as well. The course is very relevant because if we start any kind of startup, they provide funds for our startup. Semester exams are totally related to the notes and previous year's questions. It's very easy to crack the exam as our professors give us a lot of assignments, which helps us prepare well.
Other: I chose this course because of the low percentile I got in JEE Main. Also, it is a GFTI college in Haridwar; that's the second reason for my choice. The best thing about this course is that I get enough time to prepare for other exams too. I wish to improve the building of my college. The fest is held in the month of December by seniors with the students.
