GLA University MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

The university offers a two-year MTech programme under the Institute of Engineering and Technology in seven specialisations. Find below MTech specialisations along with the eligibility and selection criteria:

GLA University MTech Application Process

The steps to apply for GLA University admission are:

1: Visit the official website of the university, www.gla.ac.in and click on “Admission Open”.

2: Register with the basic details and generate login credentials.

3: Login and fill in the personal and academic details.

4: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards.

5: Book test and time slot for GLAET.

6: Upload required documents, including qualifying exam marksheet and a passport-size photograph.

Documents required at the time of application:

Candidates have to submit a scanned copy of the below-mentioned documents at the time of admission are Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet, UG marksheet, Date of birth certificate, Passport-size photograph, Transfer certificate, and Character certificate.

Note: Candidates can pay the application fee offline via demand draft.

GLA University MTech Scholarships

Candidates, who have a valid score in GPAT, are eligible for a scholarship of INR 1.33 lakh per annum. Aspirants, who have not appeared for GPAT/ GLAET, are eligible for a scholarship of INR 1.05 lakh per annum

Note: A student has to maintain a minimum CPI of 6.5 to avail this scholarship in the next year of studies.

GLA is a reputed university with a NAAC score of 3.46.

Placements: I am a first-year student of M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. Last year, 90% of students were placed in the M.Tech course. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA, while the highest package is 8 LPA. Service-based companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., are the top recruiters. Almost all students get an internship opportunity from the college. Roles like Data Engineer and Software Developer are offered in the organizations.

Infrastructure: The entire infrastructure of the campus is perfect, according to me. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The classroom capacity is 60-65 students, and each student has a desk for study. Each department and block has its separate library, which contains 50,000-60,000 books. Now, about the hostel: the hostel building is good, and the mess food is almost good compared to other university hostels. Medical facilities are available within the campus. Many sports events are held regularly, and almost all games are available on campus.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are IITians, well-qualified in teaching, and have great experience. The teaching quality is overall good. I am pursuing M.Tech this year, and therefore, this is the most relevant course in my opinion. Yes, this course prepares students for the industry. In one semester, two exams are held, and each student gets good marks if they work hard.

Other: M.Tech is a master’s degree that is good for academics as well as the industry. So, here there are two opportunities I have from this course: one is the industry, where I can get a good placement, or I can work in the teaching line. Many events are held during the academic year, with 1 or 2 events each month. The campus crowd is almost 12,000 students. GLA is near Mathura Railway Station and Mathura Bus Stand, which are within a 15-18 km radius.

Overall, it is a good college to enjoy your campus life and lead your future.

Placements: The placement rate is very low, especially from the Masters programs. The highest package offered till now is 12.45 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TATA, TCS, Ultratech Cement, HDFC etc. Internship opportunities are quite limited.

Infrastructure: Annual fests are celebrated here rather than the annual function, but due to corona, that too was not celebrated in the last two or three years, including freshers party. There is an abundance of books in the college library and are well managed with a proper system. There is a sports ground for every sport, and recently, Karate and target ball were introduced on the campus. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted on the campus. Social groups, clubs, websites and students societies are run here. Mess food quality is acceptable, and medical facilities are average. Canteens are quite good and hygienic.

Faculty: The teachers are quite knowledgeable, and some are good and available to take classes regularly. Exams are conducted on a term basis or semester basis. Exams are quite good and somewhat tough. The course curriculum is strictly according to the UGC guidelines and very relevant.

Other: I chose this course because I intended to do this from my high school, and it interests me more than any other course available.

I had wonderful and unforgettable memories in my life. Our college developed my personality greatly.

Placements: Mostly, students don't get placed in companies through our college. Mainly students start their professional life as an assistant and associate professor. This professor profession makes you feel proud in your entire life. Teaching and learning are the best experiences in life.

Infrastructure: I had an amazing experience of 2 years in our college hostel with friends. The quality of the food served is very good. I remember that we always used to wait for Sunday as special food is served.

Faculty: I had a wonderful experience with my guide for the dissertation. The way of teaching of our teachers was excellent and compatible. The entire session of this course only depends on students dissertation work. The thesis is one of the best parts of our experience in this course.

Other: Mainly, I have chosen this course and college to develop my personality for my higher education. I proved it in front of everybody.

Good place to study and make your career.

Placements: Placement in GLA is quite good. Many students are placed every year. About 80% were placed last year. Highest offered salary went up to 22lacs. Many IT companies visited the campus like Infosys, HCL etc. But departments like mechanical and civil lack in the placements.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The university is made in more than 100 acres. Includes AC classes wifi labs. Matree is organized every year which includes all types of sports events. The food is average. And hostels comprise of all the basic amenities required for the students.

Faculty: The faculty is good. They are all highly trained professionals in their respective fields. Highly educated. Projectors and blackboard both were present in the classrooms. There was 1 faculty member for about 40 students. Industry exposure was there. Many seminars were held during my tenure. The course curriculum was absolutely useful.

Other: GLA is good for studies. Study material, faculty all are very useful in shaping a better future for anyone who has an interest in the technical field. University should focus on more placements in mechanical, electrical and civil departments. Mess should be improved.

My university was good. At placement and studies are nice.

Placements: 80% students are placed the highest 20 LPA and the lowest to 4 LPA Accenture, Cahpgamina and many others 100%get internship In my college roles offered software Engineer, frontend Developed, backed developed, full sack developed, python developed Reaserch and future teaching experience and. Advance study material and. Further placement chances .

Infrastructure: There id multiple and full functional lab for student or net and Wi-Fi speed is also good. Faculty was good and experienced and they were very good at teaching. And there are many clubs for sports and dance and further many activities and there is natraj club ninand club or many more .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they guide you for your placement and studies and further experience The curriculum was relevant. Also make the students industry ready for interviews. No semester exam is not too much hard but hard work is needed 80%.

Other: Event are good and joyful .

Decent college with good infrastructure and average placement B.Tech CSE 2027.

Placements: I am from B.Tech CSE 2023 to 2027 batch, and placements at GLA University are average to decent, depending on the students skill level. In our course, around 65 to 70 percent of students usually get placed. The highest package goes up to around 60 LPA for a few exceptional candidates. The average remains near 5 to 10 LPA, while some students receive offers around 3 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure at GLA University is one of its best features. Classrooms are neat and equipped with projectors. Labs have working systems but can feel crowded at times. The library is large, peaceful, and has good Internet access. Wi-Fi across the campus works most of the time. Hostel facilities are average, rooms are decent, though maintenance requests sometimes take time. Mess is okay, neither bad nor very good, but canteen food is better.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and supportive, though teaching quality can vary between departments. The updated covers the skills needed in their industry, but students must put in extra effort outside the classroom to excel in coding or development. Exams are moderately difficult, and internal assessment helps maintain a good score. Most students pass without major issues if they attend class and review regularly.
