Steps towards a better career in the hospitality industry.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in the final year. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA for the students. Taj Skyline, Leela Gandhinagar, ITC Narmada, Hyatt Regency, Novotel, Courtyard by Marriott, etc., recruit. 80% of students are provided internships in most of the 5-star hotels.
Infrastructure: Our college consists kitchen lab, an auditorium, a front office lab, a Housekeeping lab, a library, a restaurant, and a computer lab. In our college, we don't have a hostel because it's a day scholar college. We have many kinds of sports and games included in our festive week.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are well qualified, most of them are having Ph.D. degree and long experience in the hotel industry, and they taught us in a way we understood. The curriculum of the course is regularly updated as per the latest knowledge of the hotel industry.
Other: I chose this course because I personally found the hotel industry very fascinating and empowering. More practical knowledge, workshops, and activities, other than an internship, will make us more capable in the hotel industry.

Placements: 80% of students are placed in the final year. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA for the students. ITC hotel, Lila, Tag skyline, Hyatt Regency, Novotel, Courtyard by Marriott, etc., recruit. 80% students are provided internship in five-star hotels, and they have completed the training well.
Infrastructure: In our college, different practical labs like food and beverages, a kitchen lab with all safety materials, a front office lab with computers, restoration, computer lab are available. In our college, we don't have a hostel because it's a day scholar college, but we have sports.
Faculty: Our college teachers are from different industry and they are qualified. The teachers help us in our curriculum and they guide us after class also. They also help us to get extra knowledge of the kitchen, food and beverages department, computer lab, etc.
Other: I chose this course to become a chef because of the food art and the service given to the guests. Adding more practical knowledge and more workshops on food and beverages for a well service, and more ODCs for hotel knowledge, and to collaborate with other hotels and get more experience.

Lack of practical knowledge, and still an old curriculum, strict attendance criteria.
Placements: The first batch from computer engineering will be passing in 2026 only, so after that, we can get ideas about it. However, there are no expectations from on-campus placement. Some of our seniors are preparing, but not all. There were no faculty members for the computer department earlier; 2 faculty members have come recently.
Infrastructure: Honestly, my favorite place is the library. Other than the fact that you can find all the books related to your branch, you can read there peacefully or prepare there for competitive exams. You can also borrow the books. In the library, PCs are also available so that any student can use them if needed. Labs are also well structured, and all the required equipment is available, as it is a government college, but some of the equipment is very old and not in a condition to be used. Mess is not available in our college; you have to buy tiffins from outside. The canteen is average.
Faculty: Only 2 faculty members are there in the computer department to date, and they are managing all the things; EC faculty members take our lecture. Honestly, our college didn't prepare or support students to be industry-ready; they are focusing on gaining marks more. Semester exams are conducted by GTU and are of a moderate level.
Other: If you come to this college, you should keep in mind that you have to do hard work by yourself to achieve something big; you cannot depend on the college. I think attendance criteria should be removed because we have to attend all the unnecessary classes too, because of which we are not able to focus on what matters for our careers.

Infrastructure: In our college, we have different practical labs like the front office lab, library, restaurant, kitchen, newly built auditorium, computer lab, and housekeeping lab. In our college, we don't have a hostel because it is a day scholar college, and we have sports and medical facilities in our college.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the room division management faculty is very good and the practical are done very well by the faculty, and the qualities of all faculty are excellent. The course curriculum is relevant as it is updated every 3 years as per industry standards.
Other: I chose this course as I have to explore the industry and want the experience of the food industry. The best things about our course are that there is 50% practical and 50% theory.

Placements: 85 percent of students are placed in the final year. The highest package is 3.7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. It has The Taj Skyline Ahmedabad, Leela Gandhinagar, Hayatt Regency Ahmedabad, ITC Narmada Ahmedabad, and The Grand Mecore Ahmedabad recruit. 90 percent of students are assisted by the college side.
Infrastructure: We have freshly built a kitchen lab, restaurant, housekeeping lab, exception or front lab, library which has all department course books.
Faculty: College infrastructure is very good. They provide several facilities, such as a library, which is both digital and manual. Apart from that, it is fully air-conditioned and modern. They provide Wi-Fi facility day and night, but at the same time, they are facing the issue of more users. Classrooms are well-ventilated.
Other: I chose this course for better experiences in the hotel industry, and learning about different courses. I want to improve my communication skills, culinary skills, cooking skills, and make an image in the industry.

Take admission if you just want a degree, not for skills and knowledge.
Placements: No placements provided by Shree Swaminarayan Ayurvedic College. Also, hospital is rubbish, it needs to be improved, they have fake OPD, fake patients. They don't offer any paid internship, zero exposure to patients, surgery, therapies, bad pharmacy, etc.
Infrastructure: Shree Swaminarayan Ayurvedic College has good infrastructure with a large campus, a canteen, a cricket playground, a football ground, a volleyball net with required equipment. No Wi-Fi facilities for students. Labs are decent, and basic library is common, and mess food is average.
Faculty: Non-permanent faculty members. Whole institution is controlled by Swaminarayan saints, and degrees like B.A.M.S., BHMS, B.Pharma, B.E. / B.Tech, and nursing have a uniform which have to be compulsory, worse with an ID card, and Swaminarayan University logo has to be sticked on your vehicle compulsorily.
