Gujarat University MCom Application Process

Students need to visit Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) portal to apply and submit the registration form with the prescribed registration fee. While applying, candidates must indicate a minimum of 10 preferences of programmes and the respective university schools, departments, colleges, or institutions online.

Merit Listing

MCom admission at Gujarat University is merit-based. The university shortlists candidates based on their aggregate in the qualifying degree examination. After the online document verification, the admission committee of the university releases a merit list based on the official website of Gujarat University. The merit list is prepared based on the candidate's merit, reservation category and availability of seats in their preferred specialisations, colleges and departments. 5% seats of the total seats are reserved for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a university other than Gujarat University.

Admission Confirmation

The seat allotment is based on the merit lists released by the university. Shortlisted candidates must report to the university for document verification. As the final step, they must confirm their admission by paying the applicable Gujarat University fees for MCom. The fee for the two-year programme ranges between INR 2,800 and INR 36,000.
