Gujarat University provides scholarships to the lower backward class or SC/ ST for better education and financial support. More than 30 scholarship schemes initiated by the Government of Gujarat are covered by Gujarat University. For developing high-quality research Government of Gujarat has initated a scheme called SHODH (scheme of developing high-quality research ) to offer  financial assistance to students doing qualitative research. Under this scheme, more than 1000 full-time research scholars awarded INR 15,000 per month and INR 20,000 contingency expense P.A. in the last five years.

Yes, Gujarat University does offer BCom course for the duration of three-years. For enrollment a student should have passed Class 12 examination in any stream or equivalent to Standard 12. Student, who has not opted Accountancy as a subject in standard 12 and taken admission in BCom.

Yes, Gujarat University campus is safe for girls and boys. The college campus is located in Ahmedabad. It has a good connection with roads and public transports. CCTV cameras are installed in the campus to keep a check on students safety. 

The Gujarat University cutoff list is prepared for admission to the UG and PG courses for all categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. According to the cutoff data in 2023 for Integrated MBA in Advertising and Public Relations programme, the cutoff was 83 for the students belonging to the General All India quota.
