Candidates from reserved categories will be asked for different documents by Gujarat University based on their category. Gujarat University fee vary college-wise. However, the total tuition fee for BCA ranges between 87,500 and INR 1.5 lakhs per an unofficial source. 1. Application Process 

The application process consists of first filling out the online application form from the University's official website and paying the application fee.

2. Selection Rounds 

Students have to check what the eligibility criteria is for the course they want. For eg., MBA and PhD course require candidates to appear for an entrance exam, such as CMAT, whereas for UG diploma, BA, and BDes course, students are only needed to pass the merit criteria which is a certain percent of marks in Class 12. 

3. Counselling & Admission Confirmation

After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants are required to come for counselling and document verification. For MBA, ACPC Counselling is required. Shortlisted aspirants need to confirm their seat by paying the fee.

There is no mention of whether candidates can apply for BA LLB at Gujarat University before receiving their Class 12 board exam result. Generally, merit-based admissions are not open to candidates before Class 12th results are out. GCAS counselling is also only scheduled after Class 12th results have been released.

The cutoff 2026 are not out yet & will be updated once out. The GUJCET exam is conducted for admission to BTech, BPharma and PG courses. In 2025, for the General category candidates under the All India quota the GUJCET cutoff for admission to the M.Tech in Web Technology programme was 3101554, and for the M.Tech in Networking & Communication course, it was 3101337 in the last round closing ranks.

These candidates are required to obtain a provisional eligibility certificate issued by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. This certificate must be obtained before GCAS registration is done.

Yes, Hostel facilities are offered by the Gujarat University. The Gujarat University provides separate hostel accommodation for boys & girls. There are a total of 6 blocks for boys and 2 blocks for girls namely A and B. The hostel rooms are available with single and double occupancy, with basic amenities such as a table, chair, cupboard, and bed for each student. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The total capacity of the boys' hostel is 550 students across the 6 blocks, while the girls' hostel accommodates 196 students. The hostel rooms have a 24/7 power supply, and each hostel block features a water cooler and a water purifier.

Gujarat University cutoff 2026 has not been released yet & will be updated once out. In 2025,  NEET  Round 1 Closing Rank (General-All India) for MBBS was 889. NEET SS Round 1 Closing Rank (General-All India) in 2025 ranged from 48 - 101. MCh in Gynaecological Oncology became the most competetive course for admissions with the lowest cutoff rank of 48. The least competetive course was MCh in Surgical Oncology with cutoff rank of 101.
