    College has good infrastructure and great clubs.
    Placements: Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. It helps students but we can be fully dependent on the institute for placements. So, students need to apply for off-campus placements also. But the college has started offering more placement opportunities as compared to the previous batch and in the future, it will be great in these terms.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MAIMS is good. There is AC in every classroom along with proper lighting so that students can concentrate on the lectures completely. Two libraries provide us with a book bank for the full course till graduation. We can sit in the library to study for as long as we want, and it is also well-structured.
    Faculty: The faculty of the Economics department is experienced and knowledgeable. Faculty members also help us in solving any kind of doubts, whether they are related to academics, personal life, or career. Admission for this course was made through the seat allotment system of IPU CET and according to the rank, the institute is allotted.

    Good college with amazing infrastructure.
    Placements: The placement score of the college was about 65-70% that year, which was a good score. The highest salary offered that year was 8 lakhs, and the lowest salary offered was 2 lakhs. The college even gets placement from the NBA bank.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, and the facilities are well maintained. The classrooms, ground, labs, and library are all air-conditioned. The college also provides hostel facilities with Wi-Fi, a gym, and good-quality food.
    Faculty: The facilities and staff are very collaborative and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and help students with extracurricular activities. The coursework is challenging, but fair. Exams are given each semester and midterm. The pass rate for students is typically between 85% and 95%.
    Other: College is amazing and I enjoyed those days so much.

    A promising college with good infrastructure, highly qualified faculty, but average placements.
    Placements: VIPS offers a variety of courses including a BA in English Honors. The Department of English Literature has its own placement cell which helps students connect with specific companies mostly related to content writing or creative writing job roles. The average package one can expect starts from 4 LPA in this course, which increases depending on your internships, work experience, and skill sets.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of VIPS is very good compared to other colleges of IPU. There are well-built auditoriums, and cleanliness is well maintained throughout the campus, especially in the washrooms. The college canteen offers a variety of food options at affordable prices, and the food is quite decent in taste too. There are lush green lawns where students can play cricket, football, and other outdoor games. Additionally, there are common rooms for girls and boys with indoor games like chess and carrom boards. The computer labs are spacious, and the classrooms are well lit and fully air-conditioned.
    Faculty: The faculty is great; most of them are highly qualified, well-read and graduates of top universities like DU and JNU. The professors are very dedicated in every single lecture, and there are no random cancellations of classes, which is excellent. The course taught is relevant, but students must engage in more self-reading to hone their skills. The semester exams are conducted smoothly and are mostly of moderate difficulty. One plus point is that the faculty provides electives or value-added courses to unskilled students such as conducting classes for "Research Paper Writing."
    Other: There are only two colleges in IPU that provide a BA in English Literature, and one of them is VIPS. Now, an MA in English is also available at this college. One drawback is that you have to look for internships on your own. The placement cell is helpful if you have some skill sets and work experience in addition to your regular degree. One great thing about VIPS is that it conducts a number of events (blood donations, health camps), including some big fests like SPANDAN. Additionally, various competitions like photography, writing, dance, etc., are conducted on a regular basis.

    Dissatisfied with Faculty, but Placement and Infrastructure Facilities are Great.
    Placements: The highest package offered in 2024 at JIMS was 24 LPA. Some of the companies that come to JIMS are Infosys and Deloitte. Our college also provides some internship programs during the semester break and helps us by offering guiding courses during that time.
    Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi, and all the classrooms and library are very neat, clean, and well-organized. The canteen food is good—not excellent, but good. However, the sports and games facilities are limited; you can only play table tennis in the TT room, and there is not much space for outdoor games.
    Faculty: Our faculty is very slow in terms of administrative work and providing new timetables. The curriculum of this course is very industry-ready, allowing us to connect it with the real world. The teachers are great, and their explanations are excellent.
    Other: The campus is small, but the crowd is average and pleasant. The fests and events that happen in our college are great, and our college is near the Rithala Metro Station.

    Best experience and learning in three years of my life, good placement, good infrastructure.
    Placements: The companies that visited my college to offer placements included Media Mantra, ABP Network, Arm Worldwide, QuickReel, and others. They offered internships and jobs for roles such as article writers, social media handling, business consultants, and business development executives. The highest salary package was 8 LPA, with every other salary package starting at 4 LPA. About 70% of students got placed in their final semesters.
    Infrastructure: The hostel provided by the college has very good infrastructure and hygienic properties. It offers the best quality water to drink and hygienic food every day, including three meals per day. It has a Wi-Fi connection, separate study rooms, and a 24-hour canteen. The college itself has a large library with various books on different topics and genres, providing free access to reading materials.
    Faculty: The total course consists of six semesters, two for each year. Each semester includes two types of exams: internal and external. The difficulty level of the exams is quite high, but the faculty is very supportive, and all the teachers are cooperative, helping you in every aspect to achieve good scores.
    Other: I chose this course because I want to study journalism and mass communication from a recognized college that can provide better infrastructure and exposure with ample learning opportunities. As I expected, the college is working hard to ensure their students excel, providing all the necessary practical knowledge and equipment. The college celebrates an annual function every year and also holds a farewell party for the graduating students.
