The life cycle at GGSIPU colleges.
Placements: Actually, to be honest, my class had 60 students. Around 20–30 companies visited the campus, but only 7–8 students from my class got placed through on-campus placements. However, around 15–20 students got jobs through off-campus opportunities or referrals. The highest package in my class was 36.5 LPA, which was from an off-campus placement. The lowest was 1.8 LPA. Companies that visited included Indus Towers, Bhanzu, Infosys, OneDot, etc. There were no proper on-campus internship opportunities, so students mostly went for off-campus internships. The courses offered were CSE, IT, ECE, AIML, and AIDS.
Infrastructure: Facilities were okay. It felt like an extended school life with a small campus and limited grounds. Wi-Fi was available only for staff and labs. Classrooms had basic wooden benches similar to those in government schools. Considering the fee of around 1.5 lakh per year, infrastructure felt underwhelming. There was no hostel, no mess, and no medical facility. Sports facilities were limited to a small ground. The canteen was just a small shop.
Faculty: There were two types of teachers. One type was very helpful, kind, gave marks generously, and was loved by everyone. The other type was rude without any reason, did not know how to teach properly, and had a lot of ego. The course curriculum was very old, around 20–30 years outdated. Students were taught subjects like semiconductors and microprocessors, while companies were asking for DSA and programming. It was easy to pass the semester exams. 75 marks were for the exam, and 25 were in the teachers’ hands. Most teachers gave above 20 marks, and the passing criteria were 40.
Other: I chose this to grow my career in IT because I wanted to find new things in the field of technology, but nothing went as I wished. The campus should have been larger. A canteen should have been properly arranged. The curriculum was the biggest drawback here. Event fests were zero, literally zero.

I think it is good because of hygiene, cleanliness, sports facilities, connectivity, and a campus.
Placements: 4 students get placed in TATA Power and also receive offers from BSES. Around 23 students from ECE get placed in ZS. Many EEE students are interested in M.Tech, so they do not sit for interviews. Many also secure jobs at teaching companies. There is also a GATE-qualified student. EEE benefits both EE and ECE opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. Labs are fully equipped with all necessary equipment. Classrooms are big. BVCOE is best in terms of hygiene, as cleaning and mopping are done 2–3 times a day. The washrooms are among the best in all IPU colleges. The mess food is not good, but the canteen is much better than in many other colleges. Medical facilities in the college are not available every day, but there is a hospital just behind the college. Sports facilities are good, with strong teams. The ground has improved after upgrades this year.
Faculty: Faculty is serious only if students are serious. Some professors are not very good, but the good ones really care about students’ futures. There are 2 mid-semester exams in even semesters and 1 mid-semester exam in odd semesters. The passing percentage is 40%, and internal marks are 40%, so passing is relatively easy.
Other: The campus crowd is very good due to the other courses available. The gender ratio is also very good, around 1:1.

Good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: So I am a student of RDIAS and I would say it's the best college for placement because there are 360 students in our batch and out of that 60 percent of students got internships. There are placement from top companies like Amazon, Times of India, Deloitte, and ICICI Bank offering top roles like sales executive manager and HR manager. The maximum package offered is 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: So I would say that the infrastructure of my college is much better than other colleges because it provides various facilities like a water cooler, clean canteens, and most importantly, elevator facilities. Plus the classrooms are well-euipped. My college provides labs, Wi-Fi facilities, and a library too. The quality food in the canteen is very clean and hygienic. The canteen has proper cleaning and makes the food using gloves.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching method is so different and the whole faculty is highly educated plus a curriculum and they finished the course before the exam which is a very good thing. They provide various study materials like PPTs, videos, etc.
Other: I chose this college and this course because my college has good facilities, provides good study material, and has maximum placement from the top companies.

College is good for placement but average for college life and crowd.
Placements: Placement for students is good if they are hardworking. Mid packages lie somewhere between 8 LPA. Many companies come for placement in the 4th semester. Securing an internship through college could be a difficult task. The highest package is 1 crore per annum. Overall good for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and the college is way too small. The new classes are very good. The network is a huge problem. Canteen is way too bad and short. College is very small in size. A few of my friends live in a hostel. The hostel is average.
Faculty: Exams are easy. An average student can grasp 8 plus CG. Teachers are good in terms of offering marks. The bad thing that can happen to you after coming to this college is 2 mid semesters exams. Other colleges conduct only 1 mid semester followed by end-semester.
Other: College is overall average but placement is good as compared to other IPU Colleges.

Good academics and facilities.
Placements: There are 100 percent placements. Internships are offered after 4.5 years of MBBS in the Base Hospital, one of the best clinical exposure with a stipend of Rs. 25,000. After MBBS, either PG or a job as a medical officer is offered with a minimum salary of Rs. 60,000, and the maximum could go above 1 lac. As it is located in New Delhi, it provides great exposure for research, practice, and learning.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure, but still needs improvement. The maximum campus m is air-conditioned but still not completely. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Mess and canteen serve excellent food. Sports extracurricular activities like events, fests, and competitions, all take place.
Faculty: This college is known for its academic performance and discipline. Excellent faculty. Great clinical exposure from a base hospital with a lot of patient loads, and all the curriculum is taught very appropriately and all resources for study are available.
Other: As it is an army college, it is known for its disciplined and well-mannered crowd. Also, it is located centrally in New Delhi, which gives great exposure and opportunities for a career.

Below average placements, good infrastructure, but poor faculty.
Placements: As far as I have discussed with my seniors the average package is just 4 LPA-5 LPA that too by mass recruiters like TCS and all. The lowest can be as low as 3 LPA. The highest package is about 12 LPA-13 LPA which is also by toppers and dedicated students. The on-campus placements are very poor. The top recruiting companies are Amazon and all but rarely, most students opt for off-campus placements, so the percentage is low. The internships are mostly unpaid, or we have to pay for them, otherwise the college doesn't provide much.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is slow. The classrooms don't have AC, which is below average. The canteen food is poor. The college doesn't have any hostels. The medical facilities are also just average. For sports and games, it's okayish.
Faculty: Some teachers are well qualified and actually knowledgeable while some are so non-attending. My Maths teacher didn't even take a single class in my first semester, no action was taken and almost the same behaviour in the 2nd semester and the same with the Physics teacher in the 2nd semester. The curriculum is okay, and semester exams are easy. Pass percentage is 40 marks per subject (theory and internal). The faculty is good and supportive.
Other: I was a dropout and I chose this course just because I didn't want to waste another year and there's nothing good in this college. The course is okay I do grind by myself. Self-hustle is the only thing that can take you somewhere from this college. Everything needs to be fixed in my course including the labs. Events and fests are okay. They do delay or sometimes even cancel the events which is so absurd.
