The best education at the lowest price.

Placements: There were no campus placements. After M.Sc., most students enrolled themselves in B.Ed. Some prepared for the NET exam to taking admission in a Ph.D. Others prepared for government exams. There were no campus placements during my session nor for our seniors or juniors. I am not aware of the present scenario.

Infrastructure: Hostels were available for students who secured a rank in the entrance exams. About 5 to 6 girls and 3 to 4 boys got hostel in the first year. The hostels had negligible fee and offered good food. Some hostels had reading rooms and gyms too. Wi-Fi facility was available. Facilities like a canteen, dispensary, library, and sports complex were also available.

Faculty: Teachers were great. Some were very supportive and guided us very well. Although teachers didn’t get much involved with students, the Ph.D. scholars provided better guidance. The teaching methods were mostly old and traditional. The semester exams were easy, and you can easily score good marks by studying previous years’ questions.

Other: If you cleared the entrance test and got a subsidized seat, the fee were very low even the hostel fee were negligible. You had to pay around 20% of what you would pay in a private college for the same course. The university offered many events, fests, and scholarships for its students.
