Q:   What is the date of NEET 2026?
2thumbs up
A:

NTA announced the NEET 2024 exam date on September 19, 2023. NEET 2024 exam was conducted on May 5. The result of NEET 2024 was declared on June 4, 2024. After the result declaration, several irregularities and anomalies were found in the result and the scoring system. Hence, NTA is reconducting NEET 2024 on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were awarded grace marks. The result will be declared on June 30, 2024. The NEET 2024 counselling process for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats is likely to be conducted from July 6, 2024 onwards.

The NEET 2024 application process was conducted from February 9, 2024, to March 16, 2024. The last date of application was extended from March 9, by a week. The application and correction windows were reopened in April. While the NEET exam dates were scheduled in September and July a couple of years ago owing to the pandemic situation, it took a toll on the medical admission schedule. Review for Bachelor's of Vocational Studies in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Placements: Students got internships in such brands as IHCL, ITC, The MS group, Club Mahindra, Oberoi, Radisson, etc. The experience led them on a journey of becoming the upcoming hoteliers and probably the leaders they deserve to become one day after all this training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but it could be better and the campus is very small and even the auditorium does not accommodate all the students in any special event. As a B.Voc student I notice that there is no such practical lab where you can learn practically and going to a hotel as a trainee who doesn't even have any idea about how to do things practically.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, very supportive, and knowledgeable. The course makes students ready for the industry because of the industrial exposure they get in their training. This is a job-oriented course, and there is no pressure for theory, though you do have to complete the assignments on time.
Other: I chose this because it was a career-oriented course and the best thing about this course is the exposure you get from your internships.

Our college does not provide best opportunities for students in placements.
Placements: Students got placed from 20 to 30 percent. The highest package is around 4 LPA, and the lowest 1 LPA. The average package offered in my course is around 1.5 LPA. I don't know the company exactly. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is around 50% or less.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are available in our course or department. We have good Wi-Fi and a good AI/ML lab. Classrooms are good. Our department also has libraries. The hostel quality is perfect. They have clean toilets, a clean hostel and mess also. The quality of the hostel is perfect. The food is also good. Medical facilities are not perfect.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry, but students also have to work hard by themselves also. The semester exam are average, not too difficult. Pass percentage is like 40%.

Great campus and infrastructure, but bad transport facilities and weak placements.
Placements: My course B.Sc. Hons Microbiology is a 4-year programme. There 12 students in my class. As for package, the placement center is quite weak for my course, so I am not sure. Getting an internship is as simple as getting a letter of recommendation from one of the teachers and submitting it to your desired institute for an internship. The university plays no role in it more than. Once you graduate from this course, you can go into research or join pharma companies, clinical practices, or food quality services.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite amazing, with almost all the necessary equipment and is very comfortable for me. Classrooms can be upgraded a little bit for better teaching and learning, but they are good as they are. About Wi-Fi, library, and labs - I have no complaints. All these are easily accessible and are mostly well-maintained. The mess isn't really that good, as we very rarely get 'Tasty' food. I was actually once hospitalized after a ' special dinner' they made on an occasion. Medical facilities are good. For sports and games, I'm satisfied.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and amazing, with a few exceptions. Overall, the teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant. It might make students industry-ready, but only with good self practice. The semester exams are a joke, with absolutely easy questions and online exams in which students really easily pass. The university is trying out new things every semester to prevent that from happening, but people always find a way. ( I would prefer offline exams ). Since the exams are really easy, almost everyone passes quite easily with good marks.

Absolutely satisfied with the overall performance of the university.
Placements: Well, there are not so many options for internships and placements. Being a master's degree holder in arts, I have limited options such as doing Ph.D. and preparing for college care. But otherwise, if you're in any professional course, then the chances of placement and internship are higher. Students got to practice and refine their skills in the department. Many conferences are happening in the university, and students get to present papers there for free most of the time. Different departments used to call speakers from other countries. Conferences and lectures were held every 2-3 months.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are up to the mark. Hostels and food quality are also satisfying. The environment of the classroom is always motivating and inspiring. A 24/7 library available with high-speed Wi-Fi so university students don't face any problem while studying. Building and sanitation facilities are also up to the mark.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified and experienced, so I never doubted my decision to get admission here. The exam level is moderate, and regular students have never failed in the examination, which shows the hard work of students and professors. They are ready to help you every time. In my department, my professors are so helpful that even if you meet them outside the department, they will help you just like inside the department. Apart from this, students are taught in every subject. Professors are multidimensional, and they never failed to resolve our doubts. This shows their intellectual level. The fee was less than that of other universities.
Other: This university is situated in the lap of the hills. Everything is so pure and fine that you got here and never wanted to leave this place. Such a supportive and encouraging environment that it becomes hard to move from this place. This university and the time I spent here will be one of my favourite memories.

Good faculty, peaceful environment, and campus.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students were placed from our college. Placements are mostly related to research, museums, heritage, management teaching, and tourism sectors. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA. Top recruiting organisations included Archaeology Survey of India, museums, private heritage companies, the tourism department, and other sectors.
Infrastructure: The department has a good classroom, a good history of books, basic lab facilities, and internet Wi-Fi support for academic work. The learning environment was peaceful for practical work assignments and research. The hostel faculty was decent and safe, with average food.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and most of them explained the topic clearly with good support and practical and research work. The teaching quality was good, especially for history and heritage-related subjects. The course curriculum was relevant and included fieldwork.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in history, heritage, museums, and ancient culture. The best thing about the course was the practical, learning, exhibition, knowledge, and supportive teachers. I wish there were more placement opportunities and better practical labs for students.

Absolutely dissatisfied with hostels. College is good.
Placements: I did my Bachelor's there, so I would say no placements or packages, but overall, it was a great experience with good faculty members. The students were not really there for placements, just to get through basic Bachelor's. No companies came there. No interviews were taken.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has been upgraded now. About the hostel, it's the worst of the worst. The food quality was so bad. I didn't use to eat food and ate only outside food, and got appendicitis. Warden was a very based person. The infrastructure was also very bad. The library was also there to study.
Faculty: We had very helpful teachers who were knowledgeable. Exams were fairly difficult, and that should be the standard. You have to be prepared for the exams because a lot of students failed. They think it's easy to pass, but it was not. You had to self-study. We had good faculty members.
Other: I chose it because I heard about it from my seniors. More practical aspects should be improved. No events, fests or anything were held.
