Admission to IEC University is based on the following criteria: 

• For B.Tech, a minimum of 50% in 10+2 or a valid rank/score in JEE Main or HPCET is required.
• A minimum of 45% in 10+2 (45% for SC/ST) from a recognised board
• A JEE Main/HPCET score
• A MAT/CMAT/CAT/XAT rank/score for management programs

IEC University library has over 30,000 books, 100 journals and magazines on different subjects. Beautifully designed and with a seating capacity to accommodate 200 students has cubicles for faculty and research students and has subscriptions to national & international journals like IEEE/IEE, springer, ACM, ASCE Emerald Management Xtra through membership of INDEST Consortia of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. It is an active member of the Developing Library Network (DELNET) for resource sharing. The library has photocopying, scanning & printing services within the building.

No,  A valid JEE Main score is required for admission to IEC University's B.Tech program. Based on their merit in both the entrance exam and the qualifying exam, students are chosen. 

IEC University additionally requires the following for admission: 

• For B.Tech aspirants, a legitimate UPSEE/JEE main score
• A candidate's GATE score for MTech
• A candidate's CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score for an MBA
• 30% or above in NATA is required to apply for a B.Arch.
• For overseas applications, an IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 or a TOEFL (IBT) score of 60–78 or a TOEFL (paper) score of 513-547

For admission to the IEC School of Pharmacy, a minimum cumulative score of 45% (or 40% for SC/ST) from an accredited State Education Board or Open School Education Board of the Central or State Government.Candidates can appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years after passing their class 12/qualifying exam.

Yes, IEC University does offer internships to BSc courses, as per the official statistics of placements it shows that 90 students get internships from the BA, BSc and MBA courses. Even the university's training and placements cell caters to all the requirements of industrial visits, training and finally the placements of all the students. Yes, IEC University offers a three-year BSc undergraduate degree course, offered in full-time mode. Previously the university offered BSc courses in four specialisations, but now the university offers two specialisations in BSc courses, such as BSc in Hotel Management and BSc (Hons. in Chemistry). The admission is merit based i.e., evaluated on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores.
