4.0
Small campus size but still no compromises with opportunities and exposure.
Placements: Most students got placed but recently there has been a decline in placements. Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, and many top companies come for hiring. The average of more than 20 LPA is offered and mostly companies offer an SDE role. The highest domestic package is 80 LPA. The highest international package is around 1.5 crores per annum.
Infrastructure: Mostly essential facilities are provided, due to the smaller college size there are a few difficulties. There are two hostels Kaveri and Krishna available. The college hostel is accommodating much more than its capacity and food quality is also bad. The timing is 8:00 AM officially but coming till 8:30 AM is allowed. The gym is there in Krishna hostel but most of the equipment doesn't work. Canteen food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. The exams are totally manageable. Even studying a week prior to mid sem and 2 weeks for the end sem is enough. Above 8.5 CGPA is considered safe and it is totally achievable, few professors are very strict but otherwise the faculty is supportive. Subjects are relevant for industry-ready preparation.
Other: Being a girls' college doesn't make it any less good. There are too many opportunities, good enough exposure, and the crowd is extremely good. Small campus size could be a problem otherwise it is good. Fests are nice and really enjoyable.

Girls aiming for top placements should choose IGDTUW.
Placements: 80 percent of students have been placed in recent years. The highest package offered by Motorq is 1 crore per annum. The average package offered is 24 LPA. The lowest package offered is 8 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, LinkedIn, Intuit, Flipkart, Rippling, Motorq, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, etc., hire students. Around 45 percent of students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, Intuit, Rippling, Flipkart, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Visa, Wells Fargo, Western Digital, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Infrastructure: Few classrooms have AC. Wi-Fi is available. The food quality in the mess is good. The hostel provides facilities for washing clothes, and some rooms also have AC. Medical facilities are available for students. There is also space for a gym and games, which is good for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They teach well. They also provide notes and PPTs for better understanding. Not all subjects are equally important, but some subjects are very useful from an industry point of view. Almost 95 percent of students pass exams. The difficulty level of exams is medium, so students can manage easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in the technical field. The best thing is that I got to know about new things that a person should know before getting into the corporate world. It should add more relevant subjects and make things more practical rather than in an old theoretical manner. The college provides various scholarships. Fests like Taarangana, named the annual fest, Innerve, named technical fest, Aarohan, named literacy fest, and Ignite, named sports fest, are organised here. The college is located near the Kashmere Gate Metro Station. The connectivity is good.

It is the best engineering college with the highest package of 1.2 crores per annum.
Placements: IGDTUW is a very good college for internships and placements. Many big companies like Google and Microsoft come to our campus for recruitment. The overall placement percentage is above 80 percent. The highest package offered is 1.2 crores by Motorq. The lowest package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 20-25 LPA. Companies like Uber, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Flipkart hire students. Internships are also offered by many companies, like big tech (Microsoft and Google). Internships are also good. I highly recommend girls to prefer IGDTUW if they are willing to do B.Tech.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and not very big. It has a library and labs. Classrooms have AC. Wi-Fi is also available. New buildings are also being constructed. Water facilities are also there. The hostel is average. The food is okay and not very good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable. They have industry experience and even help with the curriculum. The course curriculum is designed according to the needs and skills students need to have for their internships and placements. Semester exams are good (not very hard and not so easy). If we study whatever is taught in the class, then we will do well and score a decent CGPA of 9+. The pass percentage is 45 percent per subject.
Other: I chose the B.Tech course because I want to do engineering in Computer Science. I think IGDTUW is among the best colleges we could choose for doing our engineering. Some other department subjects we study every semester, which I think are useless because we don't know the whole thing, so they are not really relevant to us. Fests are extremely good. Top singers like Mohit Chauhan, Shaan, and Darshan Raval also visit the college. Scholarships are provided to students. There are many societies to take part in.

Placements are good. I don't think about infrastructure that much.
Placements: Almost 70-80 percent of students get placed. The lowest package offered is 9 LPA, and the highest package offered is 1 crore per annum. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Uber hire students. Not in the final year, they try to secure an internship in the third year itself, which helps a lot with PPO.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average. The college is small. There is one canteen and one Nescafé. There is a newly opened Mother Dairy outlet. The canteen of the adjacent college is nice and big with seating options. The ground is the main place where fests happen. There is one auditorium.
Faculty: Semester exams are comparatively easier than those at other colleges like DTU and NSUT. Students get marks easily. Notes are also provided easily through Telegram, etc. Many students get a 10 CGPA here. The course curriculum is relevant, but obviously, we have to study on our own.

Had a good experience till now.
Placements: Placement here is good. It is one of the main things for which the college is famous. However, this does not mean that students automatically get 20 LPA or higher packages. They need to put in their own efforts and work hard for that. It is better to choose the Tech branch because the college is more focused on it. Placements in Tech are comparatively better here.
Infrastructure: The IT infrastructure is better than others. Still, overall infrastructure is not very strong, and the hostels have a curfew time of 8:30 PM, so students cannot go out of the hostel after 8:30 without permission. The mess food also becomes not very good after some time.
Faculty: Scoring above 8 CGPA is not very difficult, but students have to study on their own. The syllabus is not very vast, but teachers rarely teach in detail. So students need to arrange notes themselves and study one week before mid-sem and two weeks before end-sem exams to score well. Teachers in IT give marks more easily than in CSE.

Good placements, but not really good infrastructure.
Placements: Above 70% of students are placed from my branch, and top recruiting companies are Cisco, Microsoft, Google, Uber, Motorq, Amazon, and Infosys. Top roles offered are software engineering, machine learning engineer, and data analytics. About 60% of students get their internships in the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the lab are there, like computer centres, Chemistry, Physics labs, etc. In the hostel, the mess food is based on their mood. Sometimes it's good, but sometimes you cannot even look at it. There are only 2 canteens in our whole university where very few items are available to eat. The basketball court is there, but you have to bring your own basketball.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very helpful, generally. You can ask your doubts easily. The course curriculum is very relevant. Subjects like data structures, data analysis and algorithms, artificial intelligence, database management systems, OOPs, Python, and R. Semester exams are kind of medium level, not very hard generally.

Faculty is good, placement is as good as it gets, and infrastructure is good.
Placements: Considering I'm in my first year only I don't know the exact percentage but as seniors have told us, college does provide good internship opportunities but that all comes down to an individual's credibility, not in terms of academic only but extracurriculars and achievements. We have students doing internships at Microsoft and Google in the BBA.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are good although we have a small department and 4-5 classes allotted to BBA and MBA combined. We do have access to facilities like college Wi-Fi, library, etc. The hostels are good, food is as good as it gets in a hostel with access to kitchen, washing machines, etc.
Faculty: Faculty is the best part about doing BBA from IGDTUW. To me they've been really helpful and have mentored me and supported me in projects outside of academics. Course structure is also very useful and the faculty makes it relevant in terms of problem-solving, and it gives enough time for students to explore different things. I'm working on a startup, part of multiple societies, and research projects, all while managing my academics. Semester exams are moderate, not that very difficult, but not something you can clear with 1 hour of studying, as for the pass percentage I suppose it's around 96 percent.
Other: I chose this because I was looking forward to having a startup and also needed enough time to explore new things which it does. The best part is the course structure- I've come to learn a lot of things and coming from a Science background I think the course did give me flexibility to adjust. Things that could be better are maybe focusing more on actual real-world problems and problem-solving than more idealised but it's not unnecessarily bad.

IGDTUW has good placements. You just need to study really hard for the good part.
Placements: Placements are good you can get it if you study hard and work hard enough for it. Get your concepts clear don't cheat OAs and you are good to go. Average package for ECE and CSE was around 19 LPA-20 LPA for 2024 batch and it decreased but the university is currently trying to revive its rigor.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not enough for everyone. The intake is way too much for the hostel's capacity. It's expensive and you only get it if you are not admitted with the Delhi quota. Hostels are clean, aids are on time, day scholars are not allowed in the hostel, and food is okayish. Not that bad.
Faculty: Some professors help you more than just in class, with research papers, and understanding life. While some professors won't even try to teach their subject perfectly. Ultimately you need to learn to study on your own in University (not just this one, but any university).
Other: I chose ECE AI B.Tech because of my interests. In the longer run semiconductor technology is heavily growing. Fests are such a hype. Join clubs that are fun and be strong enough to leave the clubs when they are pulling you down. Scholarships are provided to the eligible and extracurricular clubs are super active.
