IGNOU admission is a multi-step procedure that involves registration, application scanning, fee payment, and enrolment confirmation. The application procedure is completely online. STEP 1: IGNOU BCom Application Process 2025

The IGNOU application process for BCom is completely online. Candidates willing to apply must visit the official website and apply. The steps to be followed for online form filling are:

Step 1.1: Go to the official website (ignou.ac.in) and click on "Register Online" and then on "Fresh Admission".

Step 1.2: Select ' Click here for New Registration' in the next window.

Step 1.3: Register online by adding all the required details.

Step 1.4: Log in using the credentials created during the registration process, fill out the form, pay the application fee and submit it.

List of documents required for IGNOU application process:

• Passport size photograph
• Identity card
• Academic certificate(s)
• Birth certificate or documentary proof of birth
• Experience certificate, if applicable

STEP 2: Scanning of Applications

The applications are scrutinised in this stage of admission. Candidates are admitted on a first-come-first-served basis by the open university. The aspirants can check their application status on the IGNOU admission status page.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

After verification, the candidates can pay the course fee to confirm enrollment. IGNOU BCom tuition fees range between INR 6,000 and INR 12,000. The fee payment receipt shall be kept safe for future reference. It must also be noted that the given fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. IGNOU BCom students can apply for Government-funded scholarships. To avail of a scholarship scheme, the aspirant shall be fulfilling the prescribed criteria. More information regarding the IGNOU scholarships is provided below:

• Govt. of India Scholarships: These are available for the candidates belonging to reserved categories and is provided by MHRD and UGC.
• IGNOU Internal Scholarships: The open univeristy facilitates merit scholarship, need-based scholarship, and sports scholarship.
• There are different schemes offered by various organisations as well. These include scholarships from the National Scholarship Portal, NCERT, and the state governments.
