IIS (Deemed to be University) Scholarships and Funding
At IISU, we believe that quality education is the right of every student. Financial
limitations should never become obstacle for learner with talent, innovative
ideas, and strong passion to excel.
Students, the University offers wide range of scholarships and
financial assistance based on academic merit. Multiple scholarship categories are available, depending on the student’s academic performance and credentials.
Eligible meritorious students may receive full or partial tuition fee waivers, ensuring that they can pursue their higher education without financial barriers.
There Are Two Groups: -
1.Group A – Programs Not Eligible for Scholarships:
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, 2. B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology (RCI) 3. M.A. in Clinical Psychology (RCI) 4. Ph.D. (All Streams) 5. B.Psych , 6. NCAHP Programmes (National Council for Allied Health Programme)
2. Group B- Scholarships are applicable for all Programs which are not
included in Group A
• 25% of the total seats are allocated under the Merit-Based Scholarship, awarded based on UG Class 12 marks and PG graduation marks.
• Another 25% of the total seats are allocated under Other Scholarships, awarded based on scores/eligibility exams such as CUET, XAT, CMAT, CAT, UCEED, and criteria like alumni status, siblings, sports, etc.

Placements: In some universities, 70- 90% of students get placed every year in companies like Wipro and Infosys. The highest salary ranges from 17-20 LPA, and the average is around 3- 4 LPA. Many internship opportunities are also available. Overall, the placement process is quite good.
Placements: At another university, around 80% of students get placed each year. Companies like Lenovo and TCS visit the campus regularly. The highest salary offered is around 18 LPA. So, overall, the placement process is kind of good, not that bad as compared to what I have seen in other universities.
Placements: For my course, B.A. (Hons) in Psychology, the top firms that offered internships include RHL Hospital, ManoMatrix, etc. Normally, there were not very bright prospects for paid jobs after just graduation, but that was usually the case after every graduation course.
Placements: The first batch of our course B.Sc. (Hons.) in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence got passed this year even though it is newly launched, the course attracted interest from emerging teach recruiters and data-centric companies. Around 60-70% of the batch students got placed through campus support and self-initiated efforts. The college organises a placement fair. Placements: The college doesn't provide internships. Students do internships on their own in their choice of company. However, the college does send students some links where one can apply for internships, but no direct help is given by the college. The stipend offered by the company is Rs. 4,000 per month. The placement and job opportunities are very limited in the college, and only toppers are placed in companies with a very less starting package of around 2.5 LPA. Placements: Roles offered in our batch were research associate, lab technician, quality control analyst, and microbiologist. The companies that came for recruitment were research labs, pharmaceutical companies, and diagnostic centers. The average package offered was 2 LPA.
