As per the latest report, the highest and average package offered during ICT Mumbai placements 2024 stood at INR 9 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. According to ICT Mumbai Engineering NIRF report 2022, a rise of 13% was witnessed in the M.Tech placement rate in 2021 as compared with 2020. The placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2021 was 63%. Earlier, the placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2020 and 2019 was 50% and 56%, respectively.

The total tuition fee for the two-year MTech/ ME and M.Chem.Engg programme offered by ICT Mumbai ranges between INR 1.8 lakh and INR 16 lakh. This fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Students, however, are required to pay some additional fee components while applying for a course at a college. This includes library fees, application fees, etc. Students also are required to pay the GATE/ GPAT/ GAT-B application fee while applying for the course.
CCMT Counselling registration process is conducted in an online mode. Candidates have to register for the counselling process by filling their name and GATE related details such as year of exam, registration ID, exam paper and score to generate the login details. Check below detailed step to apply for CCMT Counselling process:
- After registration, candidates need to log in to the official website and enter their details such as parent’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, academic qualification, bank account information and others.
- Candidates will also be required to upload a scanned copy of the GATE scorecard. The format of the scorecard should be GIF/PNG/JPG/JPEG/BMP and the size should be between 50 KB to 200 KB.
- Before the CCMT registrations, candidates must generate passwords. Submission of the application form will be done after all submitted details are reviewed. After the completion of registration, a unique registration number will be generated.'
- Candidates have to pay the required registration fee through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan at any branch of SBI).

Step 6 - Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates have to select their choice of colleges and courses during the allotted time. Change, re-order and deletion of choices could be done within the choice-filling period. Candidates must fill the choice in the order of their preference. Editing of selected choices cannot be done after locking. A printout of the filled choices must be taken for future reference.

IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE 2024 was IISc Bangalore. The exam was conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Candidates had to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The last date for the GATE 2024 registration was October 20 with late fees. The last date for GATE 2024 registration without late fees was October 12. GATE 2024 application form was available online on the IISc Bangalore official website. GATE 2024 registration link is gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The registration window opened on August 30, 2023. Candidates can apply for the GATE exam until the last date. Before filling out the GATE application form, it is advisable for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria. In case a candidate fails to fulfill any of the GATE exam eligibility conditions, then his or her candidature will be cancelled and he or she will not be able to download his or her GATE admit card for 2024. As ICT Mumbai admissions depend on the entrance exam and respective counselling process, one must first apply for the exam then go through the counselling process. As such ICT Mumbai does not have a separate last date or application form and follows the guidelines set by the exam conducting body.
Spread over four semesters, admission to the full-time M.Tech courses is subject to a valid score in GATE/ GPAT/ GAT-B exams. For some ME/ MTech/ M.Chem.Engg. specialisations, an institute-level written test and interview is conducted along with due consideration to the exam scores for final selection. No, you cannot get into ICT Mumbai with your score of 90 in the MHT CET entrance examination. To get into this institute, you would need to attain a score between 98.69 and 90.31 for several engineering branches for the EWS category students belonging to the Home State quota.
