IIT Mandi MTech Highlights & Eligibility 2024
IIT Mandi offers two-year MTech courses in nearly 10 specialisations. The course is divided into four semesters. Some of the popular MTech specialisations offered are Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, VLSI, Structural Engineering, etc. Admission to MTech at IIT Mandi is through GATE followed by COAP counselling. The institute also offers an HTRA scholarship of INR 12,400 to MTech students. Aspirants meeting the eligibility conditions can apply for the HTRA scholarship. Yes, the institute offers a four-year integrated BTech-MTech course. The dual degree course is offered in only one specialisation, i.e., Bioengineering. Admission to this course is also done through JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA counselling. There are a total of 28 seats available for this course at IIT Mandi.
For MTech, candidates need to visit the official website of GATE to register online. The application fee for male students is INR 1,700, and INR 850 for female students.
