As per the last year, the expected CCMT 2026 date is May 2026. The online application form will be made available (round-wise). Candidates have to fill their GATE and other details within deadline. Documents required for CCMT 2026 Registration
Candidates must keep following documents ready before CCMT registration 2026 link is activated:

CCMT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for CCMT counselling 2026 -

Must have a valid GATE score

Must have obtained at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC and 6.0 CGPA or 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. (If both CGPA and percentage is mentioned, then CGPA is preferred during CCMT 2026 registration)

Incase, result is awaited, then provisional admission is accepted, and they have to submit their minimum qualifying degree requirements before given deadline.

Important Instructions while filling CCMT Application Form
Candidates must enter all their details correctly, as it will be verified at the time of document verification. Students must refer to the GATE 2026 CCMT seat matrix and eligibility required for the specific course programme. While filling CCMT application form 2026, they must carefully do the choice-filling options. If they do meet the requirements, then seat will not be allotted.

How to Apply for CCMT 2026?
CCMT 2026 registration will take place online for different rounds. There will be three main rounds of GATE counselling, followed by two special rounds and Nationa Spot Round (NSR), depending on the seat availability. Here is a detailed guide on how to apply for CCMT 2026 within the deadline -

First, qualified GATE candidates have to register themselves at CCMT portal.

After registration, candidates have to pay a registration fee (non-refundable) through UPI, Netbanking, Debit or Credit card.

With the help of CCMT login 2026, students will be able to fill and lock their choices as per the round-wise counselling schedule.
Important: Candidates must ensure that all documents and details are correct, as the information will be cross-checked by the authorities at the time of GATE counselling for NIT, IITs, and GFTIs admission.

At time of CCMT 2026 choice-filling, candidates are free to change/reorder/delete and add their choice of programmes/institutes as per their preference.

Lastly, candidates must take a printout of the submitted CCMT 2026 registration form, containing the list of locked choices, terms and conditions.
NOTE: This print copy must be signed and submitted by candidate at the time of physical reporting at the allotted institute. Candidates must update their GATE credentials, such as registration ID and enrollment ID. The details can be checked on GATE application form.
How to retrieve CCMT Login Credentials?
Candidates can reset their password at CCMT candidate portal. Here's how one can do it -

Candidates must note that CCMT does not offer any application form correction facility. However, candidates do have a chance to shuffle their preferences at the time of time counselling choice filling and registration. But, once the choices are locked, they cannot be edited till the time of specific CCMT 2026 counselling round. Based on candidate's submission, the authorities will update CCMT 2026 cutoff result.
