Overview

CCMT 2026 Registration: Online application form for Centralised Counselling for MTech/MArch/M.Plan admissions will be made available soon. This year, NIT Agartala will conduct CCMT 2026 counselling. Candidates who have qualified GATE exam can apply for CCMT registration 2026. The official portal for CCMT 2026 has been launched and details will be updated soon. 

As per the last year, the expected CCMT 2026 date is May 2026. The online application form will be made available (round-wise). Candidates have to fill their GATE and other details within deadline. Candidates have to pay a registration fee of INR 3000 or 3500 depending on category. Final selection is based on GATE cutoff scores. Read below to check more about CCMT registration.

Documents required for CCMT 2026 Registration

Candidates must keep following documents ready before CCMT registration 2026 link is activated:

  • Valid GATE scorecard: (applicable scorecards are 2026, 2025, 2024)

  • Personal and academic details

  • Online migration certificate

  • Conduct certificate

  • Transfer certificate, etc. 

Candidates must upload all required documents according to specifications. It must be noted that CCMT 2026 counselling is for full-time programmes including GATE scholarship

CCMT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for CCMT counselling 2026 -

  • Must have a valid GATE score

  • Must have obtained at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC and 6.0 CGPA or 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. (If both CGPA and percentage is mentioned, then CGPA is preferred during CCMT 2026 registration)

  • Incase, result is awaited, then provisional admission is accepted, and they have to submit their minimum qualifying degree requirements before given deadline. 

CCMT counselling conducting authority will release dates for CCMT Counselling 2026 on its official website. Candidates must ensure they fulfil all eligibility/course-specific requirements before filling and applying for CCMT qualifying during choice filling. Candidates are solely responsible for checking these special eligibility requirements.

Important Instructions while filling CCMT Application Form

Candidates must enter all their details correctly, as it will be verified at the time of document verification. Students must refer to the GATE 2026 CCMT seat matrix and eligibility required for the specific course programme. While filling CCMT application form 2026, they must carefully do the choice-filling options. If they do meet the requirements, then seat will not be allotted.

How to Apply for CCMT 2026?

CCMT 2026 registration will take place online for different rounds. There will be three main rounds of GATE counselling, followed by two special rounds and Nationa Spot Round (NSR), depending on the seat availability. Here is a detailed guide on how to apply for CCMT 2026 within the deadline -

  • First, qualified GATE candidates have to register themselves at CCMT portal.

  • After registration, candidates have to pay a registration fee (non-refundable) through UPI, Netbanking, Debit or Credit card. 

  • With the help of CCMT login 2026, students will be able to fill and lock their choices as per the round-wise counselling schedule. 

Important: Candidates must ensure that all documents and details are correct, as the information will be cross-checked by the authorities at the time of GATE counselling for NIT, IITs, and GFTIs admission.

  • At time of CCMT 2026 choice-filling, candidates are free to change/reorder/delete and add their choice of programmes/institutes as per their preference. 

  • Lastly, candidates must take a printout of the submitted CCMT 2026 registration form, containing the list of locked choices, terms and conditions. 

NOTE: This print copy must be signed and submitted by candidate at the time of physical reporting at the allotted institute. Candidates must update their GATE credentials, such as registration ID and enrollment ID. The details can be checked on GATE application form.

How to retrieve CCMT Login Credentials?

Candidates can reset their password at CCMT candidate portal. Here's how one can do it -

  • Visit CCMT portal and select "forgot password"
  • Select any one option to reset
  • Link will be sent to their mobile/email address
  • Change and save

Applicants are advised to keep their CCMT credentials safe for future purposes. Registration number and password will be needed for choice filling and locking, download seat allotment letter and more.

CCMT 2026 Registration Fee and Types

CCMT 2026 counselling fee is categorised into different types, which are as follows -

  • Registration fee

  • Seat Acceptance fee (SAF)

  • Partial Admission Fee (PAF)

  • Special Round Registration Fee (SR Participation Fee)

  • National Spot Round Registration Fee (NSR participation fee)

Seat Acceptance Fee

It is fee amount deposited if the candidate accepts the allotted seat. It is a partial amount of institute fee and will be adjusted at time of admission.

INR 30000  (for General/Gen-EWS/OBC) and INR 10,000  (for SC/ST/PwD)

Partial Admission Fee

Partial admission fee is the amount that must be deposited if he/she want to confirm their seat. This is a part of institute fee and will be adjusted against the finally allotted institute’s admission fee

INR 10,000  (for General/Gen-EWS/OBC) and INR 5000  (for SC/ST/PwD)

Special Round (SR) Registration Fee

If a candidate wishes to participate in special rounds of CCMT-2026, then candidates have to undergo with a fresh registration along with a payment of non-refundable registration fee (mandatory for special rounds 1 and 2)

INR 3500  (for General/Gen-EWS/OBC) and INR 3000  (for SC/ST/PwD)

Special Round (SR) Participation fee

Fee to be deposited during the registration of special round along with the SR registration fee. This will be a part of the institute fee and will be adjusted against the finally allotted institute’s admission fee. (If a candidate has already paid SAF and PAF in regular rounds then that fee will be adjusted towards SR participation fee. If a candidate has only paid SAF during regular rounds but not paid PAF then difference of SR participation fee and SAF will have to be deposited)

National Spot Round (NSR) Registration Fee

If the candidate wishes to participate in the National Spot Round of CCMT-2026, a fresh registration along with the payment of Non-refundable registration fee is mandatory.

 

National Spot Round Participation Fee (NSR Participation Fee)

Fee to be deposited during the registration of National Spot Round along with the NSR registration fee. This will be a part of the institute fee and will be adjusted against the finally allotted institute’s admission fee. (If a candidate has already paid SAF and PAF / SR participation fee in previous rounds then that fee will be adjusted towards NSR participation fee. If a candidate has only paid SAF during regular rounds but not paid PAF then difference of NSR participation fee and SAF will have to be deposited)

CCMT 2026 Application Form Correction

Candidates must note that CCMT does not offer any application form correction facility. However, candidates do have a chance to shuffle their preferences at the time of time counselling choice filling and registration. But, once the choices are locked, they cannot be edited till the time of specific CCMT 2026 counselling round. Based on candidate's submission, the authorities will update CCMT 2026 cutoff result
