Yes, JLU Bhopal conducts interviews for admission to its BCom (H) programme. At first, the university reviews all the applications received and shortlists students who have shown good performance in the Class 12 examinations. Candidates willing to pursue a BCom (H) at JLU Bhopal must submit an online application through the university's official website. All the steps required to apply successfully are listed below:

1. To start, students must scan, upload, and email the following documents to the university's official email ID. The documents to be attached are:

• Certified copies of all mark sheets from class 10 onwards till the last completed semester/year.
• An authentic copy of the semester- or year-wise detailed course structure, scheme of teaching, and evaluation of the course of study pursued by the parent university/institution
• No Objection Certificate from the parent university/institution

2. Go to the online admission portal.

3. Register by filling out the form appearing on the screen.

4. Log in to the newly made account and fill out the application form.

5. Pay the application fees of INR 1,100 and click on the submit button.

The University has a good placement record. During the 2023 drive, the highest package offered was INR 14.25 LPA. Alongside this, the NIRF report 2025 has also been released. Out of 60 MBA students 29 were placed during the JLU Bhopal placements 2024 and the median salary offered was INR 6.60 LPA. For Law courses, the salary was between INR 2.40 LPA and INR 3 LPA.
