If you want to study animation, never chose a degree. If you want college life, chose this college.
Placements: Placements are good in our college, and there are a lot of big companies are ready to hire us. But, to get placed, we need to higher marks like a certain CGPA. The college also provides internship offers to students during the course period.
Infrastructure: There are classes for lab and theory. In the lab classes, there are a lot of systems, but I never get to use them. I don’t know why it’s like that, they’re just there. There is Wi-Fi facility available, which is free for everyone, and the library is fine, it's okay.
Faculty: If we talk about faculty members, teachers are very helpful and friendly, and the teaching methods are also good. But, the course doesn’t make students industry-ready, and the semester exams are quite hard, but it's good. The teaching quality doesn’t fully match the course fee.
Other: If you are looking to study animation, don’t go for a degree just look for some studios.

Overall, I am satisfied with it. It has good faculty members and good placements.
Placements: More than 50% of students get placed in my course. The salary packages can vary from 2-6 LPA. Teach giants like Wipro, Tata, HCL, and Infosys visit the college to recruit students. More than 60% of students got internships. There are specialisations in animation and in VFX and masters in VFX and animation. Gaming and digital filmmaking courses are also available.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in most labs but not so much in classrooms. AC is available in every class and the library is good too. I don't know about the hostel as it costs are much as the college fees. I did not stay there but I heard that there are top-notch facilities. There will be a bus for hostel students to take them from college every day.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They lack teaching skills maybe because I'm in the animation course as art is difficult to explain. They are very knowledgeable and more than willing to clear any doubts we have.
Other: I chose this course to pursue art and to increase my artistic skills. The best thing about my course is the class timings as it is not too much and we will have plenty of time left in our day. I wish they would give the students original Adobe software and not cracked ones. Events are good there is always something happening on the campus.

Review of Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore.
Placements: In the course which I'm studying, about 68% of students were placed, out of 100%. About 32% of students got internships from our course. The highest salary offered in our course is nearly Rs.85000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs.16000 per month. Students got placements in some companies like animation companies. Nearly 5 to 10 companies offered students internships.
Infrastructure: The college administrator provides us with good facilities. They provide us with healthy food for breakfast and dinner. There are 3 big labs, and a big airy room and hall too. We have only 1 library which was not too huge, 1 canteen and the ground is also available. There are no facilities for sports and games and medical facilities too.
Faculty: This course makes the student ready to work in industries, and the passing percentage in semester exams is 29%. The teachers are good, understanding, knowledgeable, and qualified. Some professors are also good they talk to us in polite way and their teaching quality is good.
Other: I choose this course because it's my dream to work in animated industries. If they provide some sports facilities, then it becomes good. I wish it to happen soon.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: In Jain Deemed-To-Be University, the placements in 2020 ended on a successful note with around 1,250 students getting placed in globally recognised corporate giants, including TCS, Emphasis, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Morgan Stanley, AXA, Synapse Innovation, Grant Thornton, and various others.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. I don't know about the library and computer lab, but I think there are good library and computer lab. There is a good infrastructure, but there is no sports field on the campus. Food is not bad. Hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: The teaching is not special as teachers just teach using PPT slides. The teachers don't teach you anything from basics, and they give you assignments regularly. They don't say how to do assignments. They always tell us to practice the assignments.
Other: Formerly known as Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC) in 1990, Jain Deemed-to-be-University ranked among the top universities located in Bangalore that was established by JGI Group. It was granted the status of a 'Deemed-to-be-University' in 2009, and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded it.

I am dissatisfied with our college faculty members, and the placements are not good.
Placements: Placements are provided in small companies only, and placements are not much good. I don't know about internships as they didn't tell anything about placements and internships openly. However, I have seen few students who passed out from our college are working in MPL. I think our college doesn't have any contact with Rockstar Games Bangalore for placements.
Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure, but there is no sports field on Jayanagar campus. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. I don't know about the library and computer lab, but I think there are a good library and computer lab.
Faculty: The course content is outdated. The teaching is not special as teachers just teach through PPT slides. Teachers don't teach you anything from basics, and they just give you assignments every time. Even they don't teach you how to do assignments and always tell us to practice them.
Other: If you want to be a game designer or developer, I suggest you to choose engineering or some B.Sc in computer science, bachelor of computer application and learn art but on your own. So, it will help you to get placed in your dream company.

It is not good for design courses such as gaming, and animation but good for BBA, B.Tech and B.Com.
Placements: The first batch of gaming (our batch) only has 20 students. The design field is neglected because we are a minority in the university. Start-up companies only provide most internships. Most students drop out and join academies.
Infrastructure: We are not provided with computer labs, Wi-Fi or any such amenities. The pictures provided in the official college site are false and pasted from other branches. Hostels are poorly ventilated, and the food served in and around the campus is unhygienic. There is no campus life because it's a single building where you cannot stay long after your classes are done.
Faculty: Teachers in our college have good knowledge but cannot teach. Good teachers leave college in every few months. The English proficiency of the overall college lies from basic to poor. The management hardly ever hears out students, and the issues are still being unresolved.
Other: Our college doesn't provide any scholarships. They do conduct great celebrations and fests.
