Yes, admission to the JIIT Noida courses is entrance-based as well as merit based for certain courses such as BBA. There is no provision for direct admission, but candidates can get admission to the merit based admission process courses just by filling out the application form. However, for JIIT Noida M.Tech admission, the institute offers direct admission to candidates with an overall CGPA of 7.50 out of 10. Those students are exempted from GATE or other entrance exams and are eligible for direct admissions.
JIIT Noida is one of the top colleges for engineering in the country. JIIT Noida JEE Main cutoff 2024 was concluded with the release of last round of cutoff results. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 59706 and 129809. The most in-demand specialisations were B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing and Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering. Looking at the cutoff ranks for these specialisations and most of the other specialisations, there was observed a fluctuating trend in the cutoff.

What’s new at Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology Placements? The highest package offered during JIIT placements stood at INR 60.71 LPA, which was offered by LinkedIn. Further, 214 companies visited the campus during placements. In addition, a total of 164 companies visited the campus during JIIT placements and the highest package offered stood at INR 82.89 LPA.
Earlier, the university released the BTech placements statistics for previous year. The highest, average and median package offered was INR 1.15 Crore, INR 11.01 LPA and INR 7.60 LPA during Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology placements, respectively. A total of 120 other companies have offered salary package of INR 6 LPA to 727 students during the placement drive. The university recorded above 99% placement rate and 1,422 offers were made in Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, DXC, TCS and Accenture. This is to note that, the 1,422 offers are an inclusive for All Jaypee Universities. Further, the data mentioned is for BTech, Integrated and MTech students.
