My honest review and experience as a student at JECRC University.
Placements: I am a first-year student, so I don't know much about the placement scene. I know that 70-80 percent of students who have a good GPA get placed. Roughly 45-60 percent of students secured internships. The highest package offered is around 33 LPA in phase 1. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Accenture, TISCO, Cognizant, IBM, and HP hire students from the college. Top roles offered are software developer, full-stack developer, network engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many Wi-Fi connections in the academic buildings and in campus hostels as well. Classrooms are spacious, well-furnished, and have ample space. We have 2 libraries, which are well-maintained and contain all books we may require as students. There are a Chemistry lab, a Physics lab, a programming lab, and an engineering workshop. Labs have all types of equipment that we need, and they are well-maintained.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. As a first-year student, I have seen that teachers are very helpful here, like we don't have to worry about unnecessary things. They will help us with everything, be it exam preparation, or any other career or academic-related help. Semester exams are quite up to the mark as they are difficult enough to test our understanding of the concept. Many students pass exams. Almost all subjects and topics are relevant to the subject, while a few subjects are not relevant but are compulsory for some semesters.
Other: The college organises a lot of events, seminars, debates, and departmental activities. The crowd is decent all along, but it is better if we find our own people. We can get a scholarship of 20 percent based on our 12th result or JEE Main result. One thing is that we will see that small events happen every now and then, so we will enjoy ourselves a lot. The campus is very good and feels vibrant, especially the canteen named Buzz. Even in the buzz, a number of small events take place, so college life is lively.

This university is cost-effective and you will enjoy the college life on campus.
Placements: For B.Tech you have plenty of options. My seniors are well placed in different companies. You need to work on yourself for better placement opportunities. You can get an average package of 5 LPA easily if you work on yourself. Currently, the placement ratio is improving and also increasing.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very strict regarding any bad habits like cigarettes, alcohol, etc. There is proper checking of bags or luggage while entering the hostel. Hostel rules are quite irritating due to time constraints especially for girls it's 6:30 PM for outside roaming and 9:00 PM to roam inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive but you need to give them respect. You need to go to them by yourself to clear all your doubts and queries. Examinations are also of medium difficulty level. There are 3 terms. End-semester exams are of 100 marks and internal-semester and mid-semester exams are of 40 each, in each of them you need to pass.
Other: I am interested in computers and technology since my childhood. I am learning coding from the 8th-9th standard. The best thing about this course is the more you work on yourself the more you can get the package. I want to improve the crowd for this course as there are too many degree holders for B.Tech and the competition is very high. Fest in JECRC is one of the famous things about it.

Best college life and faculty members, love the environment here.
Placements: I didn't opt for CRT, hence I didn't sit in placements either. I wanted to pursue motion graphics and animation. Otherwise, the college makes sure to stay with the students in their journey of getting placed. I'd say about 60% student get placed for sure rest either drop from the placements, want to pursue something else, or pursue higher education.
Infrastructure: I love the idea of the brick aesthetic at my university. Also, how open and not stuffy the classes are. Even if the benches are filled with extra students clads doesn't feel suffocated at all, hence very proper ventilation and cooling. Very peaceful environment in terms of lawns.
Faculty: Some teachers made sure to stay by my side in all the difficulties I faced in the subjects. They always left space for students to ask queries till they could properly make sense of the problems and the solutions, even if we were to ask more than normal times.

There is a placement cell too in college, and it is not that efficient as university newly opened later on it may develop well and efficiently.

Shattered dreams behind the social media glitz.
Placements: College shows a wide range of companies offering high packages in placement drives, but in reality, only a handful of companies offer a decent package. Placements are not up to the mark compared to the academic fees students pay for the university. I got placed with a salary package of 6 LPA at Edutech company in Bangalore from campus. I worked for more than 1.5 months. But havn't received any payment yet. Though I shared all the details with the placement team, they still didn’t took any action to resolve this. I expect to earn a good salary, but that did not happen.
Infrastructure: Numerous food options are available in cafeteria. The mess food is good. Classrooms and labs are well-functioning. But in summer, attending classes becomes a tough task as only fans work and no ducts are functional. Management should consider providing ducting facilities in summer classes because it cannot be tolerated when temperatures rise to 35–38°C. Recently, after renovations at the university, areas like the badminton and basketball courts and the cafeteria have improved.
Faculty: Course curriculum can be modified a bit based on relevance to the field. Teachers keep teaching the same theory, and students like me, who have little interest or knowledge about programming, often get demotivated and are unable to learn properly. We managed to pass by understanding the theory only, and skipped the coding portion. They should start new strategies and practices to help students. This would help them learn effectively and improve their understanding and skills.
Other: Teaching programming and coding skills must be improved. Teachers must train students in more practical ways to learn programming. Events and fests happen, but the college should stop taking registration fees from students, as they already pay academic fees.

It is not a very good college.
Placements: I don't know much about placements, but as I have heard, they are average and not that good. Most of the students that I see are doing their own research and finding internships and jobs off campus through their own connections. They are not dependent on the university.
Infrastructure: The hostel gate closes at 9 pm sharp, so we have to enter before that time. 3 people share the same bathroom, but they at least have privacy in rooms cause they are separated but small. Wi-Fi speed is very slow both in the classroom as well as hostel. Library have very few books. The food is spicy, not that good.
Faculty: Faculty is below average. Most of them don't know how to teach. Teaching quality is poor. The course curriculum is average. We have to study by ourselves. The course curriculum should have made students industry-ready if somebody really provided skills and knowledge. Exams are not that tough.
Other: I chose AIML because I thought it would be a good course. AIML is very trendy right now. I think teaching quality could be better. Students are very bad here as well. They don't study, nor do they let others study. Also, if one student makes mistakes teacher punishes all students by marking them all absent. I don't understand this logic. So many events happen here. So many opportunities for connections and networking.

That's a pretty good college, other than placement and all, but you can have really fun here.
Placements: The placements always depend on you. The companies also come, but the good packages are only secured by the students who do their best, not by the college. You need to try hard, work on yourself, practice your course, and then you'll get a good placement.
Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure, I would say. Good vibes look happy every time. Convenient as it is near the city. Jaipur is a very good city with nice people, very beautiful, and everybody knows how beautiful it is. Overall, you'll have fun.
Faculty: Nice faculty overall. If you really give your best, they'll help you every time. Sometimes students don't put in any effort and fail, but still, teachers and faculty help them to push forward and give their best to overcome their past performances. That's it.

    Poor infrastructure and academics.
Placements: Placement records are skewed, showing a decline each year. Every year, companies keep reducing their recruitment, leaving mostly mass recruiters. Major high packages offered are often fake, or the student’s family owns the business. The majority of roles offered are in sales and marketing.
Infrastructure: Students are often pushed to outer hostels, and the available facilities inside are subpar. The hostels are not enough to accommodate the intake each year. The buildings are old and poorly maintained. Classrooms are outdated and not designed for technical courses. There are no separate buildings for each department.
Faculty: Only 10–20 percent of the faculty are qualified. Many faculty members cannot communicate properly and are meant to teach large crowds who need these sessions. The mathematics faculty cannot teach effectively and sometimes hold grudges against students.
Other: Every aspect of this college feels like a cash grab.

College life is good, however, the placements are not too good.
Placements: 10% classmates were placed in office companies, and the rest of them are jobless, doing jobs in BPOs and other fields like sales and marketing. So all average, the placements were not good. I also got my first interview cleared in a sales role, however, they don’t allow us to sit in other internships as one is cleared.
Infrastructure: The classroom and infrastructure were good. Labs and libraries were also fine. The canteen was good as well. Sports facilities were good. Medical facilities were also fine, everything was fine.
Faculty: Examinations were also average. Courses were not provided by the college. semester wise examining were not so hard, however, you will have to study by yourself, as the study material, like books and copies, was not included in the fees and not provided by the college, so be prepared.
