The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The BTech Civil Engineering syllabus focuses on both theoretical lectures as well as practical work.

With the help of lectures in the curriculum, theoretical concepts are introduced to students, tutorials provide space for solving problems and applications also.

And the labs offer hands-on experience to students who get acquainted with equipment and CAD software. Also, the field projects also allow students to apply their B Tech Civil Engg. skills and knowledge to design and implement communication systems.

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India. 

The M.Tech Civil Engineering syllabus follows a more practical and industry-oriented approach, where students are given advanced-level understanding of Civil Engg. concepts with a focus on a particular area like Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.

There are rigorous theory classes, case studies, field visits, and project work, all of which combined are expected to make the students job-ready for the future.

The BTech syllabus is not similar in all the Indian colleges. Talking about the first year of BTech, the general subjects taught are almost similar that include Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and other engineering fundamentals to provide a basic foundation for the BTech course ahead. Further, the BTech syllabus will differ on the basis of the specialisation you have chosen and the college, different colleges follow their own set of guidelines regarding the course curriculum that includes both core and elective subjects along with practical lab work. 

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject. 

BTech courses do offer a variety of electives for you to opt for in the 5th and 6th semesters, where you get the chance to pick a specific subject that interests you more and is easy-going for you. 
You can choose to pick a subject according to the specialised field within your broad BTech specialization, which you would like to enter into in the future, where you see yourself as a happy and well-established engineering professional. For example, in BTech Electrical Engineering, there are a variety of electives like Power Systems and Electronics, Signal Processing, Communication Systems Theory, VLSI Technology, etc.
