Well-maintained campus and a smart, ready campus for engineers.
Placements: 85% of eligible students are placed in our course. Among them, 56 LPA is the highest package, 7-8 LPA is the average, and 4-5 LPA is the lowest. About 90 percent of students got the opportunity for internships at Cisco, Bosch, etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Snider Electric, Bosch, etc.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, green and clean smart campus, Wi-Fi available. Good and large library with digitalised and modern computers. A large and silent reference hall for studying. Hostel rooms are large and spacious with 24-hour electricity and water supply, and food in the mess is good.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, with most of them having completed their PhD, some with M.Tech and a few assistant professors and are well knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes one industry-ready. The semester and the exams are not so tough, and almost all the students have passed and been promoted.

The campus is great, and crowd is huge.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 33 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Tata Elxsi, etc., visit our campus for placements. One of the few top roles offered is a data analyst. Around 70% of students get internships in this course.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are well-equipped. The classrooms are very good. The library is open from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. The reference section is open from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM. The speed of Wi-Fi is 2 Mbps, but in certain areas of the campus, students may not get the signal. The quality of food in the mess is decent. The gym is open 6 days a week and is highly equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course is updated, it keeps in mind the requirement of the industry. The semester exams are moderate. Around 90% of the students from the computer science department get pass.
Other: One of the best things about this college is the fest. Jayciana is the annual fest which is one of the largest fests in South India. The campus surroundings are great and full of trees. It is pleasant and calm. There are a lot of clubs, both technical and non-technical.

I am completely satisfied with the previous year's placements.
Placements: Around 82% of students were placed and 39 LPA was the maximum salary package offered and 14 LPA was the least offered salary package. Cisco was the highest bid and in the 3rd year, almost everyone got their internships. Around 20% of students got their pre-placement offers. Our college had offered more than 435 packages.
Infrastructure: CSE and ISE branch buildings are the best without any doubt in our college. High-speed data connection, air-conditioned labs, and a huge library with a number of books are available on campus. Sports is given a equal priority as there will be Intergraph competition and hostel competitions. The mess food is good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good if you listen to their classes. The curriculum is excellent in our college. If you pay attention to their classes, the semester exams are very easy to pass. The pass percentage is around 40% and you have to get a minimum attendance of 75% to write the exams.

College is very good and worth it if you are looking for placements. Infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Placement of this college is good. 95 percent CSE students are placed at decent companies. The highest package was 40 Lacs which was offered by Cisco. Many students got above 12 Lacs. Around 60% students got internships in good companies. Top recruiting companies are Adobe, Microsoft, Cisco, Infosys.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is decent. Labs are very good. Classrooms are spacious. Library is very big. There is a gym, one basketball court, two playgrounds. Hostel mess is good. Every Sunday, one piece of sweet is served. Wi-Fi speed sometimes good and sometimes bad. Washrooms are not cleaned on regular basis. There is irregular supply of water.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and some teachers are very rude. Their teaching quality is not good but some teachers teach very nicely. This course is very helpful for growing their personality. It makes the students industry ready. There are 5 internals before end semester exams.

Our college has value for money. It is a good college to pursue CSE.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. More than 300 companies come here for placements in which more than 250 companies are IT companies. If you are getting computer science here, then placement is not a big deal for you, you will surely get placed with a salary package of 10 LPA to 12 LPA. The placement percentage for CSE is almost 100%. The college was established in 1963, and it is very old. So its alumni network is very strong. In Mysore, this college has a good reputation as IIT.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is brilliant, and the labs are well-equipped. You will feel like you are on NIT and IIT campuses. It is a green and plastic-free campus with brilliant sports grounds and the hostel is well furnished after 1-st year. Library is good enough, and the mess food is also good but if you are a North Indian then you would have some problems. Medical facilities are also good. There are three canteens on the campus. Wi-Fi is around 65 Mbps throughout the campus.
Faculty: A few faculty members are very good whereas some are average. There are 5 internals and 1 semester-end exam. So every month you have to write an exam. For the semester-end exam, you have to study well. Because exams are not so easy in this college.
Other: A fest called Jayciana held in our college is very popular all over Mysore. It is the biggest fest of the college which refreshes students and finds talents from various students.

I am satisfied with faculty members, campus life, and placements.
Placements: In computer science and information science branches, the placement rate is around 90%. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA, and the median salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA. Mass recruiters offer a salary package of around 4-5 LPA. Internship opportunities are good and are available after the third year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. Labs are well-equipped and maintained, and classrooms have smartboards and projector facilities. A vast library and reference section are available for students, and 3 books can be borrowed per student per week.
Faculty: I would rate the overall teaching quality as above average. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. As the university is autonomous, the course curriculum is updated regularly and is relevant. There are 5 internal events per semester, and they are conducted for 20 marks per subject per event. Finally, there is a semester-end examination conducted for 100 marks.

Review of JSS Science and Technology University.
Placements: As our college is one of the top colleges in Mysore, it has the best placement rate compared to any other college in Mysore. Many reputed companies like Google, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture come to our college to recruit students from our college. In our college, almost 98% of students got placed in good companies. Many students pursue their studies abroad or write GATE examination. In the previous year, the highest package offered was 50 LPA by Amazon. Many students complete their graduation and go for internships, and many of them do their own projects, and some pursue their higher studies. Many students who got placements in big companies are working as software engineers or junior software developers.
Infrastructure: Our campus is the best in Mysore, and the buildings are very clean. We have a beautiful auditorium in which most of the important functions in Mysore take place. Our building is situated on the outskirts of the campus, so it's quite big and consists of 25 classrooms. The strength of each classroom is 60 students. The benches are pretty big, and we can comfortably sit without any trouble. In our computer lab, we can get free Wi-Fi access, but we have to get the password from our class teacher. Our college library is the best, and it consists of a huge hall, where we can study peacefully. It also contains many books which help us gain knowledge. Many magazines are present, and we can relax there and study. Both boys' and girls' hostels are present inside our campus. So, I think it's pretty safe for students. We have to get permission to go out of the campus. The canteen food is good, and most of the students do not bring lunch at all, and they always eat at the canteen. Our canteen's burger is very famous in Mysore. Many outsiders also come to eat in our canteen. Our college is situated near the hospitals, so in case if there is an accident, we can shift the patient to that hospital. Our college also has basic first-aid facilities. The best part of our campus is that we have many playgrounds, so sports events are very regular. We often play cricket or football on these grounds whenever we get free time. Many students are selected for national-level competitions from our college, and we can practice a lot in that field.
Faculty: During my admission, I thought that the teachers here would be strict, but when I started going to the college, I found out that they were very friendly and were also very helpful when we needed something, like clearing our doubts. The non-faculty members are also very friendly, and they help the students in many ways. Most of the teachers are seniors in the teaching field, so we get a very good education in respect of subjects and some life advice. Our college invites experienced engineers to teach us in labs which can help us know the industrial work in this field. It is very helpful for us. The lab sessions are very useful for us, and the activities we have in labs, like group discussions and seminars, help us get ready for future challenges. Our college is autonomous, so the paper is quite tough every year. But I believe it's good for students as we can get ready more by studying more. During my first semester, the passing percentage was 80%, but we got used to it. We can score it easily as we have to attend class tests regularly.
Other: As technology is growing in the current world, most of the works in every field will be computerised, so I chose CS as my subject as I have an interest in coding as well. I would also like to learn robotics in my course, so I think there should be a chapter about that in our course. The highlight of our college is the fests and events. Most of the fests are held regularly from the start of the college. Our annual function is called JCIANA, which is very famous in Mysore. The campus is the best in Mysore. It is very big and filled with greenery we can enjoy our campus life. Many scholarships are provided with SNQ, NCC, SSP, etc., scholarships to help them with financial matters. We can get information about scholarships in the scholarship section. We have many clubs in our college, and we can enjoy our time by joining these clubs. I am a member of the arts and crafts club, and we get to do a workshop every month. We enjoy a lot during those times.

This college provides the best placements, campus, and infrastructure.
Placements: In Mysore, this college is famous by name. SJC has the most number of placements in any college in Mysore. Almost 40 students get placed in very good companies which is good for college. Accenture, Amazon, and other companies recruit from our college. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college has a vast campus and the infrastructure is good. This is one of the best campuses I have seen in Mysore. The hostel is inside the campus which is very helpful for students. The mess is also good. There is a vast library where students can study, and the playground is huge students have many grounds for various games. It is one of the best experiences on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are more likely to be strict when it comes to studies. But the staff are rather friendly and help students when needed. The teaching is good in this college. The exams are tough as it is an autonomous college. But it helps students to study more and prepare well for the future.
Other: Jcyana is the name of the fest that is held every year which is my favorite and the best of all. It is like a mini Yuva Dasara held in the yuvadasara auditorium, which is the best. It provides playing grounds, cafe, and fests are also good in this college.
