SJCE Mysore review regarding college life and placement.

Placements: This college is famous for its placement only in the Mysore region. If you work hard for 4 years, you can easily brag about a good placement at the end of your B.Tech. Average package for CSE related is 11 LPA, and for electrical related it's 7 LPA, and for mechanical and civil it would be 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is very strict for girls. You will get Wi-Fi too, which you can use anytime inside the college. You can't use Wi-Fi, I mean, inside class, but after class, you can use it overall. The college labs, food, and canteen are very good in terms of investment. You will get PC labs and many more. You will get a cricket ground and two football grounds, one volleyball and one badminton too and the sem exams are not that hard.

Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and will clear all your doubts regarding subjects, and the course is very relevant. The course is very good in terms of output.

Other: Very good and supportive crowd, good people everywhere.

JSS STU placement 2025 review.

Placements: The placement of this college is good, and it's good among other COMEDK colleges. Earlier, its placement was good. In the year 2023-24, the placement was as follows for CSBS, ISE, and CSE. Package around 10 to 12 LPA avg. But now, due to a dip in the market, the average revolves around 9 to 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college location is good, and its infrastructure is also good. But compared to other COMEDK colleges like RV, MSRIT, BMS, Dayanand Sagar, they have good and modern types of infrastructure. But this college has old infrastructure since it was established in 1963.

Faculty: The teachers and all the facilities are very helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. This course is designed by TCS, and its curriculum is relevant, which means we have a different syllabus compared to all other CSE-related branches. The difficulty of the semester exams in this college is moderate, which means that if you study, you will easily pass the exams.

Other: The college organises a fest once a year called Jayciana, which is the annual fest of JSSSTU, Mysuru.

The infrastructure facilities are good. You can surely recommend it over local private colleges.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 56 LPA, and the average is 9–13 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft visit the campus. Around 40–50% of students get internships. Many roles are available for software engineers. The placement rating is around 3.75 out of 5.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent but not very good. The hostel is average, except for the special outside one. The food is okay and edible, and the washrooms on my floor are decent. The rooms are also okay. However, you can enjoy your hostel life. Sports and games are available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are good. It is an orthodox system of classes. Teachers are helpful, but you cannot learn everything in class. You need to study on your own as well. The difficulty of the semester is decent, but there is no relative grading. Everyone can get an S grade. Faculty depends on individuals.

Other: The courses are good, and teachers are helpful. Around 75–85% of students perform well according to teachers.

College placements are great, and facilities are also great, but the infrastructure is lacking.

Placements: As our branch is primarily based on Computer Science and Business Systems, financial-based companies come in majority for placements. The highest package is 56 LPA in 2025, and now for the 6th semester students, the placement cum internship is going on. The major recruiters are JP Morgan, Stanley, Juspay, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the college is quite less compared to other private colleges. The quality of living in the hostel is poor, and the food quality is also very low. The sports and games there provide great exposure. The Wi-Fi network speed is average.

Faculty: Course includes financial subjects which prepare students with soft skills, and the students also get guidance from great faculty members. The teachers are well experienced and have done extensive research on their topics. The semester exams can be passed easily with minimum effort, so you can focus on external activities and developing skills.

It is a great college with a good placement rate and even more great infrastructure.

Placements: B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the most sought-after degrees. The college has a very good placement record. Almost 100% of students get placed in top companies like Infineon, Oracle, AMD, Aptiv, Nokia, Texas Instruments, etc. Internship opportunities are offered mostly at the end of the 3rd year. Many students grabbed internships in companies like Infineon, AMD, and DevRev. We can see that packages vary from 5 LPA to more than 10 LPA on average.

Infrastructure: Our department has great infrastructure with dedicated laboratories to each practical subject. Labs are equipped with the latest equipment and components, along with very supportive instructors and professors to carry out experiments. The campus provides students with a good Wi-Fi facility and a digital library, as well as a well-kept and large offline library for students to borrow books. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained on a regular basis. Sports department takes a good interest in holding tournaments. JSS STU is well-known for its cricket tournament in Mysuru. Facilities in the hostel are great, but the food might be mediocre.

Faculty: Students are very well encouraged to participate in workshops. The mini projects assigned are of great help for students to get industry-ready. Professors and lecturers are supportive. Various technical clubs provide us with a professional environment to learn skills other than the syllabus. Teach talks are held very often. Recently, a talk on the Kalpana Chawla Memorial was held on providing insights on the mission of ISRO.
