Kakatiya University accepts TS ICET scores for admitting students into its MBA programme. TS ICET is an online/computer-based test (CBT), consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, to be solved in 150 minutes. Each question carries one mark. No marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. There are three sections of the exam, namely, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. Students can choose English and Urdu or English and Telugu as the medium, for sections other than Communication Ability, which need to be attempted in English only.

The total tuition fee for Kakatiya University Master of Business Administration (MBA) is INR 80,000. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a hostel fee of amount INR 8,370 that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. Kakatiya University offers MBA as a CBCS-based PG programme. The MBA curriculum of the university covers subjects such as Organisation Behaviour, Operations Management, International Business, Business Research, etc. In the final year, students can choose one of the following: Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management and Systems Management.

In this regard, the UGC, New Delhi has issued certain guidelines vide reference cited wherein clearly stipulated to refund the entire fee paid by the students who wish to cancel their admissions within time bound Le, with a charging of 1,000/- processing fee Irrespective of regular/SFC courses.

The TS EAMCET Counselling 2025 will be conducted in three phases, namely Phase 1, Phase 2, and the Final Phase, for admission into BE/BTech/BPharma courses by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and will be managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). Further, TS EAMCET (now TS EAPCET) Spot Round will also be conducted for Private Unaided Engineering Colleges.

Kakatiya University has a total intake of 920 seats for all streams of BTech that are offered at the Warangal campus of the university. These seats are allotted through TM EAPCET counselling. Only the students who have appeared for the TS EAPCET entrance exam are eligible to apply for this counselling. During the counselling, the candidates have to place Kakatiya University BTech at the top of their college preference list. If the candidate has cleared the required cut-off, a seat will be allotted to them, subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.

As the accepted entrance exam for Kakatiya University BTech admissions is TS EAPCET, the last date to apply for the admission is decided by the last date to apply for TS EAPCET. TS EAPCET deadline is declared each year by conducting authority. In 2024, the last date to apply for the exam was May 01, 2024. The exam was conducted in the month of May. The counselling rounds will begin in June.
