Karnataka State Law University, also known as KSLU is an Indian state University located at Navnagar. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with an “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

KSLU Admission Process 2021: Fast Facts

KSLU admissions are conducted offline as well as online through the official website of the University. The University offers five UG and one PG programme in the field of Law. Admission to UG, PG and PG Diploma programmes is done on merit basis. PhD admissions are based on UGC NET/ JRF/ SLET.

KSLU UG Admission 2021

At the UG level, the University offers five courses under the department of Law. Admission to all UG programmes is done on merit basis. The course duration varies from course to course. Given below is the course-wise selection and eligibility criteria.

KSLU LLB Admission 2021

The University three-year LLB programme with a total of six semesters. LLB admissions are done on merit basis. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks secured in HSC. Given below is the eligibility criteria for LLB admissions.

KSLU Admission 2021: BA LLB, BBA LLB

BA LLB and BBA LLB are five-year integrated programmes offered by the University. Each programme consists of 10 semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. The final merit list of selected candidates will be based on HSC scores. Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

Apart from the above UG courses, the University also offers BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) with a course duration of five years. Candidates will be selected based on the scores obtained in HSC. Eligibility criteria for these courses is given in the table below:

KSLU LLM Admission 2021

At the PG level, the University offers a two-year LLM programme, consisting of four semesters. The final merit list of selected candidates will be based on the marks obtained in bachelor’s degree. KSLU PhD Admission 2021

The University offers a PhD in Law with a minimum course duration of three years and a maximum of six. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks secured in the entrance exam and the performance in research proposal and Personal Interview (PI).

KSLU PG Diploma Admission 2021

Apart from the full-time courses, the University offers a one-year PG Diploma in three different specialisations. PG Diploma admissions are done on merit basis. The final merit list of selected candidates will be based on graduation scores. Eligibility criteria for the same is given below:

KSLU Application Process 2021

KSLU application fee is Rs 1,000 for General category candidates and for SC/ ST category candidates, the fee is Rs 500. Candidates can apply online as well as offline for the admission process.

For offline application process, candidates can collect the application form from the University office and submit it with the required documents. For online admission process, follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Visit the official website of the University, www.kslu.ac.in
2. Download the application form from the application form section
3. Fill the application form by entering personal and qualification details
4. Submit the application form along with required documents
5. Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit cards/ net banking or offline via DD/ challan

Candidates can pay the application fee offline through DD in favour of Finance Officer of KSLU or through challan from any SBI branch
