M.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2021
Offered by Mar Ivanios College (Thiruvananthapuram)

Teachers here are confidential in maintaining the privacy of students.
Placements: The placement track was quite challenging to understand. A unique set of companies was approached for all the courses. For the course of Chemistry, they approached research, pharmaceutical, fertiliser and chemical companies like Asian Paints, Bharat Rasayan, Tata Chemicals Ltd, Pradeep Phosphates Ltd, Atul Limited, SRF Limited, with average and maximum pay.
Infrastructure: We are restricted from moving from the college without giving any proper notification to the departmental responsibilities, and they, in turn, provide the gate pass for leaving the college in the middle of the day due to emergency situations. By supporting students interested in sports, admitting students into the college based on sports quota and other merit quotas are encouraged.
Faculty: Teachers don't disclose the personal information of the students to others without the students ' consent. Teachers play a major role in creating the best version of every student. Teachers are with mid-value experience, but they are highly beneficial to the students.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Batch of 2023
Offered by Kerala University College of Teacher Education
4.8

Good college for B.Ed course.
Placements: Merit list students only need to pay a small amount for entrance and PTA dues because the college is aided. If not, they must pay between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 45,000 or more for management seats. The business isn't hiring. We don't because it's not like we get internships. Additionally, the college offers placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mediocre. The Wi-Fi is good. The classrooms have advanced technology. A library and sophisticated laboratory are available. For students, a new building is being built. For both boys and girls, our college has set up dorms. Food is superior. The quality of medical care is excellent. Sports are supported at our campus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. They are informed and helpful. For this reason, priority should be given to this campus. Additionally, smart classroom facilities are utilized. The ratio of students to faculty is 7:1. Students are frequently brought in for hands-on training and fieldwork.

BCom Business Information Systems - Batch of 2027
Offered by Baby John Memorial Goverment College

Developing a college and a nice campus.
Placements: The placements are more normal than others, and there is high competition for the placements. The college offers internships for FYUGP 2nd Year students, which are normal internships, not paid internships. The internship for FYUGP students is also compulsory for almost all students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average. The college offers Wi-Fi to students from the government, provides library facilities, a science lab and a computer lab. Canteen facilities are also available, and now almost all classes are digital classrooms. The college is in a developing stage.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and friendly, and they provide high-quality education to students. The exams are provided by Kerala University. Odd semesters are internal evaluation and even semesters are external evaluation. Some exams are difficult, but practical exams are easy to pass. 35% is the minimum mark needed to pass.
Other: I chose B.Com Business Information Systems because it provides a B.Com degree with computer applications in business practices. I think in the modern era, it is useful to get jobs faster. The government provides a variety of scholarships to various students.

B.B.A. LL.B. - Batch of 2028
Offered by Mar Gregorios College of Law
3.6

It is a good place for studious students.
Placements: We have a placement center that actively connects with new recruiters and provides the best opportunities for internships and placements. More than 50 students have been placed in this academic year alone. The highest placement offered is from Technopark.
Infrastructure: We provide computer labs, a cafeteria, a library with a full collection of case files, Wi-Fi in the library, and conference halls. Classrooms are well-maintained. The quality of food in the cafeteria is good. We also have an infirmary. Sports areas and gaming rooms are also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but since the college is under Kerala University, the semester timings are a bit stressful and rushed. Also, the exams do not align with the semesters. The quality of teaching is excellent in law subjects, but not so preferred in business papers.
Other: It is an academically centric college, so it is an excellent choice for a studious student. Campus activities are lacking compared to other colleges. Our campus does not allow political parties to avoid unnecessary difficulties in classes. Students are required to lock away their phones before entering classes.

Master of Business Administration - Batch of 2023
Offered by University Institute of Management

Placement is bad, but college and faculty are the best.
Placements: The placement of this college was literally very bad. A very small number of companies have come for placement. Most of the students were unplaced after their final year. Only 10% students get a job offer. Students were very satisfied with the placement opportunity. The placement record was very bad and needs to be better in this college.
Infrastructure: The college was located in a very good place. Many facilities were available for students. Classrooms were neat and clean, and a library was present with a variety of books. The hostel was available for student accommodation. The hostel was only available for those students who were in a bad financial condition, lower caste, and who were far away from their homes. The mess food was delicious.
Faculty: Teachers were so qualified. They taught every topic very easily to the students. They were very helpful and friendly with the students. The course curriculum was relevant. They made students industrially ready. Teachers gave 100% effort so that students can easily get a job. The semester exam was moderate to tough. The passing percentage was good.

All good and bad things about the college.
Placements: Around 65% students get job offers from our college. The highest salary varied from 9.5-9.8 LPA, and 2.5 LPA is the lowest package. The top recruiters of our college are IBM and TCS. The top roles offered are data analyst and research analyst. Many students get an internship programme. The placement cell of this college is actively working.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is the best. Facilities like a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, library, labs, and properly managed classrooms are available. This college has indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The taste of the food is moderate. A medical facility is available 24/7 in this college. A cultural event was also conducted.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers have a PhD. They are very strict but very kind. Always motivate students to study. All faculty members have extensive knowledge about their own subject. They teach all subjects very deeply and also in an easy way. The course curriculum is the best and most relevant. Exams are difficult. 50% students clear the exam.
