Trivandrum Medical College in one view.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly. Departments and the student union provide mentorship programs. There are three sessional exams, including a model exam for internal assessment, followed by the final university exam in August or September. The passing criteria are basically 40:60, i.e., one should score above 40% in theory or practical and 60% or above in the other.

My review of this college.

Faculty: The college faculty was very knowledgeable with years of experience they used to explain well and were also always readily available to help the students outside the classroom. This really helped me in learning the concepts. All the professors are qualified to hold a PhD degree in their respective fields, they are motivated towards their jobs as well. The semester examination system was followed, where every year consisted of 2 semester exams and 2 mid-semester exams every 6 months. Each paper w...

Excellent academic environment and average campus exposure.

Faculty: Semester exams are fairly average and one of the strongest points of the college is its academic achievements. The college consistently ranks 1st and 2nd position in terms of academics. Teachers are competent, the KTU 2024 scheme is fairly relevant to industry, but there are many shortcomings, including activity points (mandatory for credit) and the year-back system.

My honest review of Fatima Mata National College.

Faculty: Faculty members were very knowledgeable, highly reputed, and highly qualified from different prestigious universities. They were keen to share their knowledge. They were always approachable whenever students had doubts or queries. Faculty members were also very friendly. The semester examination system was followed, with two semesters each year. The course duration was two years, so students appeared for four semester examinations. The evaluation consisted of mid-semester examinations of 20 mark...

Review of Bishop Moore College.

Faculty: Faculty members were very intellectual and supportive in nature, except for some of them. They always helped students when they faced problems. They generally gave assignments and checked our performance regularly. They had knowledge about every student in their class. Overall, they were very good in nature. They were well-experienced. Some faculty members had completed Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. Their practical experience helped us a lot. The exam structure consisted of semester ...

The college offers good infrastructure and education.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in helping students achieve maximum academic performance. The course is relevant in the modern world. Semester exams are somewhat tough. But faculty members support students in achieving good marks in every exam and provide proper guidance.

Review of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Faculty: Semesters are not that tough, but the conduct of exams is not regular. The university lacks in conducting examinations regularly, and the syllabus is not updated to make students understand easily. The teaching is good, but there are faculty members who teach very badly.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Also, good relationships with teachers.

Faculty: Teachers were extremely helpful and well-qualified. If the student is interested in teaching, the course is very relevant. The semester exams were moderately difficult. The pass percentage was 40. An average student could easily pass out of college.

Affordable quality education.

Faculty: Faculty are remarkable resource people. Curriculum is poorly designed with a lack of anything and an abundance of many. Semester exams won't feel difficult until the faculty members want them to be difficult for us. Papers are really hard to cover. Curriculum is academically relevant but it does little to make students industry-relevant.

Quality academics, average life.

Faculty: At Mar Ivanios College, teachers are qualified and helpful. The teaching is good, but mostly theory-focused. The University of Kerala curriculum is relevant but not fully industry-ready. Exams are moderate, with a pass rate of about 80–95% friendly teachers.

In my college, we have no good roads and no good transport facilities.

Faculty: The teacher is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and helps students in their studies. The course is irrelevant to the students because after passing the course, we can’t get jobs in the industry. Highly difficult semester exam in this college, we need a mark of 28 to pass the course.

Overall its a good campus. The only negative I felt is that there is no playground.

Faculty: This is one of the few government colleges in Kerala where all the faculty of the Mechanical Engineering department hold a doctorate. Thus, the quality of faculty is very good. The course curriculum is based on KTU. The syllabus is updated every 4 years. The semester exams have become tougher in recent years. The pass percentage of students in the mechanical engineering batch is around 60%.

SCTCE is good when it comes to academics.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Most of them are highly qualified. Half of them are good at teaching but the other half have massive ego issues. The Auto syllabus is alright. KTU exams are just a scam to give us supplies. I spend more time writing records than actually learning anything.

It is a place where we can find ourselves to lead a long life.

Faculty: Teachers are harsh sometimes, but they help with studies. The pass percentage is 75 percent. Semester exams are hard. Students find it somewhat difficult to study portions as teachers take the class fast and put tests early. The teaching quality is somewhat okay.

It is absolutely good for the campus vibe.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. Their teaching style is excellent. The course curriculum is absolutely super. I didn't feel much difficulty in exams, maybe because I like physics. The pass percentage is around 30 percent out of 80 percent. But for me, exams are not so difficult. All the staff members are friendly.
