To successfully submit the application form for the UGPET exam, candidates need the following:

• LURN (Lucknow University Registration Number): This is to be generated through the Samarth Portal on the university website.

Some important instructions for filling UGPET application form without errors are mentioned below:

• Candidates must generate LURN by paying an online fee before filling separate admission form.
• Candidates must check all data entered before submitting the form or paying the application fee.
• Once the application fee is submitted, the data on the registration page cannot be edited.
• If a fee payment is not updated immediately, candidates must wait for at least 72 hours before contacting the technical helpline and should not make multiple payments.
• Applicants appearing for their Class 12 exam in the current year must fill in the name of their exam board and log in to update their obtained marks before appearing for the counselling process.
• Fees deposited at the time of online registration is non-refundable.
• During the form filling, candidates can make entries, save their information, and log back in using their credentials if the process is interrupted.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for UGPET Exam

Candidates applying for UGPET 2026 exam must meet the following course-specific eligibility conditions:

• BBA Programmes: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination with 50 per cent marks for General/OBC candidates and 45 per cent marks for SC/ST candidates.
• BCA Programmes: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent exam with 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for reserved categories) in any of the following as one of the subjects

Candidates are allowed to edit some of the information using the login dashboard. Applicants can make changes to certain fields, such as Date of Birth, Gender, and Address, up until the last date of submission. After the submission deadline, the submitted data will freeze, and no changes will be allowed. Candidates will not be able to edit their name, Father's Name, or Mother's Name.
