Not recommended to the 2026 batch due to a lack of placements and weak management.
Placements: The college did not provide placement or internship support for this course. During my time, no companies visited the campus specifically for placements in this stream. There was also no official assistance or guidance for internships. The college's main focus was on the dental course, and other courses were only for earning money through them.
Infrastructure: The college had labs, classrooms, and a library, but it needs improvement. The college mostly feels like a hospital, not a college. In the library, books are outdated and very old. Wi-Fi is not in existence. Hostels were like dirty rooms, bathrooms, and mess and canteen food was not good for health, and along with that, we felt like we needed to go out for dinner and lunch, but college didn't allow us to leave the campus after 7 in the evening.
Faculty: Sometimes teachers were helpful in something, and it was good to say they were not properly qualified and knowledgeable, some were, but mostly were not in our course. The course curriculum was not relevant, the course didn't make the student industry-ready because they only taught us the old things, nothing new, just read and learn, no need to practice. Like, seriously, we could learn coding without practising it. Exams were quite easy, you just had to study for a few days, and most of the students passed the exams.
Other: I chose the course because my friend recommended it to me, saying that this is the best course, and you were also in tech, so you must take it, but the reality hit different. Teachers came and just wrote the code on the blackboard, no practical, nothing, just pure theory. I wish classes could be improved by replacing teachers and other staff, along with building more labs and providing software and computers to practice. At least give a chance to get a placement. Events and other fests were rare in college, because they didn't want to spend money on these things.
