Comprehensive review about MMDU.
Placements: Placement rate is 70-80% for civil students who are eligible and proactive. Average package is 4 LPA - 9 LPA. The highest package is 30 LPA - 40 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Roles offered are site engineering, structural engineer, project manager, and some non-core roles in IT/service.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for boys and girls, AC and non-AC rooms, furnished rooms with bed, study table, chair, almirah, and some with balconies. Mess providing hygienic meals (vegetarian options for international students). Facilities like common room, TVs, and indoor games are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Professor's blend of traditional and modern teaching methods (lectures, practical, digital tool) approachable curriculum duration: 4 years (8 semesters) core subject, geotechnical, transportation, environment, examina.
Other: It provides a solid combination of academic infrastructure and practical exposure, faculty support, and placement opportunities, making good choice.

My best college has fabulous infrastructure.
Placements: In Civil Engineering, around 80-90% of students get placed, which is pretty good. Highest package offered so far is about 31 LPA (Lacs per annum), while the lowest is around 3 LPA. On average, students get 5 LPA. When it comes to internships, more than 90% of students manage to land one. Main roles offered include Site Engineer, Structural Engineer, Project Manager, and others related to construction and infrastructure.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities at our university are really good. There's Wi-Fi throughout the campus, the classrooms are well-organized, and the library is great with strong internet connectivity. Mess food is actually better than most private universities, though it's purely vegetarian.
Faculty: Faculty is supportive and well-qualified. They explain things from the basics, and they're always ready to help if you have doubts. They also have a good understanding of the subjects and teach based on industry requirements, so you get to learn the relevant tools and technologies used in the field. The course curriculum is up-to-date and matches well with what's needed in the industry. The semesters are manageable. It's not too hard to pass, but if you want a high CGPA, you'll need to put in some extra effort.

My journey is starting from this month.
Placements: Around 75-85 percent of Civil Engineering students get placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered in recent years has been around 20 LPA while the lowest is around 3 LPA. The average package stands at 4.5 LPA. A large number of students also secure internships especially in areas like site engineering, structural design, project management, and public infrastructure projects. Many students get internship offers from reputed construction firms, government contractors, and private consultancies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is well-suited for Civil Engineering students. Laboratories are equipped with modern instruments for surveying, structural analysis, soil testing, and material testing. Classrooms are well-organized and fully Wi-Fi enabled. The library offers a wide range of technical books and journals, with a strong internet connection to access digital resources. The hostel and mess facilities are clean and well-maintained. The mess serves high-quality vegetarian food, which is generally better than that of many private institutions. Hygiene and nutritional standards are well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. They guide students thoroughly, starting from basic concepts and building up to advanced applications. They are approachable and assist with projects and research work. The course curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry standards and modern civil engineering practices. It includes training on AutoCAD and STAAD. Pro, Revit, Primavera, and other relevant tools. There's a strong focus on practical exposure through lab work, site visits, and industrial training.

This university is good for students because it has a good study environment.
Placements: Well, our university claims a 93% overall placement, but when I ask my super seniors about this, they say there is only about 70% placement, and the package is also very low, around 1.8 LPA. There are only 1-2 companies which give internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but there is no Wi-Fi in labs and classrooms, and the food is not good in taste. During breakfast or lunch, there are many students who make a crowd, making it difficult to collect food. The food quality is also not good, and medical facilities are not good either.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated, and most of teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are very supportive and have good knowledge. Moreover, they has high-quality teaching, and the semester exams are very easy, with a high pass percentage.
Other: Well, I choose this course because in the past I completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering after 10th, which made me a great interest in this field.

There are average placements, not much good placements for B. Tech students.
Placements: Students who scored between 7 to 9.5 CGPA were placed on-campus placement at MMU. The highest package is 7 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Top companies coming to recruit students are Hero, Mahindra, and Bosch. Structural engineer, surveying engineer, etc., roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good at MMU. There are so many labs in civil course for practical knowledge. Classrooms are covered with air conditioning. There is free Wi-Fi in the library and hostels. Hostel has huge staff, and the service is very good in hostel. Two times a week staff clean our room and bathroom. Mess food is quite good (average). Gym and sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. There is very little time to complete the syllabus so doubt classes are taken in another class. Teaching quality is very good. There are survey camps also which make students ready for industry. There are a lot of things which can be learned from camps. Semester exams are little difficult but the average student can pass the exam. Pass percentage is 30%.
Other: There is a freshers party also when freshers join college. There is much crowd in college. Scholarships are given to those students who secure 60 marks in class 12th.
