Maharishi Markandeshwar University offers various scholarships to meritorious students. Candidates must have scored the respective percentage in order to be eligible for the MMU scholarships.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University Highlights

• All deserving candidates can avail only one scholarship at one time.
• Scholarships are only applicable to some of the courses offered at MMU.
• Candidates must note that the tuition fee waiver at the same percentage offered at the time of admission will continue in subsequent years of study, subject to fulfillment of required conditions of minimum attendance in each subject and maintaining the required CGPA.

Merit Scholarship

Merit based scholarship scheme is applicable to selected programmes offered in the regular mode. Upto 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to the eligible applicants. Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

Condition for Continuation of scholarship from second year onwards:

COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship

A special scholarship in the form of 15% waiver in tuition fee will be offered to Covid-19 warriors. Wards of the following categories of Covid-19 warriors will be offered this scholarship:

• Wards of Police and Paramilitary Personals working in any State/ UT
• Wards of Doctors, Nurses, Para-Medical Staff, Lab Staff and Housekeeping Staff working in any Government/ Private Hospitals or in Deptt of Health of any State/Central Govt.
• Wards of Media Persons (Print & Electronic)
• Wards of Sanitation Workers of Municipal Committee or Corporations
• Wards of Bank Employees

Girl Child Scholarship Scheme

For Haryana Domicile/ MMIS Mullana Alumni Scholarship

A special scholarship in the form of 15% waiver in tuition fee will be offered to the eligible students under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship is applicable to selected undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered in regular mode. 

VEER Scholarship Scheme

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Eligibility

• Undergraduate: Completion of Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate 
• Postgraduate: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% aggregate

SHAHEED Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Martyrs

The scholarship is applicable to selected UG and PG programmes offered in online and regular modes. 100% tuition fee waiver is applicable for eligible applicants. 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be the child of personnel martyred in the line of duty while serving in:

• Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force
• Central Armed Police Forces
• Other recognised paramilitary or defense services

Academic Eligibility

• Undergraduate: Completion of Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate
• Postgraduate: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% aggregate

Condition for Continuation of Scholarship from second year onwards:

• Scholarship will continue in subsequent years by fulfilling condition of 80% attendance in each subject and SGPA > 7 in each semester
