My happy software journey started from MMDU.
Placements: Computer Science students have some of the best placement records in the university. Around 85 to 90% of students get placed each year. The highest package often crosses 30 to 40 LPA from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and other tech giants, while the average package ranges between 6 to 8LPA. Popular recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. Roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, and AI/ML Engineer.
Infrastructure: The department has well equipped computer labs with the latest hardware and licensed software, along with high speed internet. There is a dedicated innovation lab for AI, Data Science, and IoT projects. Classrooms are smart-enabled, and the library offers access to e journals, a coding platform, and technical books. The hostel provides good Wi-Fi, and recreational facilities like sports and a gym are available.

My best college with fabulous infrastructure.
Placements: About 80-90% of students get placed here for computer science and engineering. The highest package offered here is 43 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and average package is 5 LPA. More than 90% of students get internship opportunities. Top roles offered here are software engineer, software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities of our university are really good like Wi-Fi facilities, classroom is well organised, even libraries are available with strong Wi-Fi connections. Food quality in mess is awesome as compared to various other private universities. But here you will get only vegetarian food.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive. They will teach you from scratch and help you when needed. They are knowledgeable regarding the subjects. Course curriculum is highly relevant to the industry requirements, and it will teach you industry required technology stacks. Semester is not easy but not even hard. It is easy to pass the semester but to score good CGPA, you need to prepare more.

Faculties are good, infrastructure is average but for placements take admission on your own risk.
Placements: Placement is almost 100%. The highest package of our college is around 20 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, etc. Internship programs are well. Top roles are as employees and some higher positions an be achieved.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average like no Wi-Fi on campus, labs are well-equipped, and library is also good. In classrooms, AC doesn't work sometimes. The rooms of the hostels are nice but the mess is not good and the food quality is low. There are hardly sports facilities. Medical facilities are also good as it has it's hospital nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. Their teaching quality is nice. There are extra tutorial lectures to clear the spending doubts or any spending topic. Curriculum is not proper to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite tough.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to take computer science as AI is booming. The best thing about this course is it is related to what is trending at this time. Everything should be improved. Scholarships are given on the basis of the 12th percentile. Events are organized but fests are organized hardly.

My software life started at MMDU.
Placements: Most students from the Computer Science and Engineering branch get placed. Around 80-90%, which is quite good. The highest salary offered here has gone up to 43 LPA, while the lowest is around 3 LPA. On average, students get offers around 5 LPA. Internship opportunities are also good. More than 90% of students get a chance to intern during their course. The main job roles offered include software engineer, developer, data analyst, and similar tech profiles.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, the university provides pretty decent facilities. Classrooms are well-maintained, there's Wi-Fi available across the campus, and the library is also equipped with internet. The overall environment for studying is nice. The food in the mess is also better compared to many private colleges, though it's strictly vegetarian.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and helpful. They usually explain things from the basics, and they're supportive if you reach out with doubts. They have a good understanding of their subjects. The course content is updated and matches what is needed in the current job market.     MMU Mullana admission process is entrance-based as well as merit-based. Candidates can apply through both online and offline mode. Candidates can obtain admission to any course at MMU by fulfilling the eligibility criteria and securing valid scores in the JEE Mains, NEET-UG, GATE, MAT, CMAT, NEET-MDS, or in the qualifying exam. In addition to the entrance exams, students will also have to clear personal interviews and group discussion rounds.

    MMU will conduct counselling round for students who have valid score in the qualifying exam and have been shortlisted in the merit list; they will be called out for the counselling session. At the time of counselling process, candidates will have to pay the fee for their desired course.

    Yes, you can but giving JEE would help you get into government institutions, otherwise you can always give the entrance tests of private colleges and get admission for CSE.

    Hello Bipin, To my knowledge perhaps except for TN, no other state admits students to engineering based on marks of 12th. Hence your 83% are in a sense irrelevant. You should have given CET of your state.
